2 Congratulations on your engagement and thank you for considering The Boat House for your Wedding Our dedicated staff are here to help make your wedding reception unforgetable and will work with you to bring your ideas to life. With our experience we are available to offer advice on most aspects of your reception to ensure it is the special celebration you have imagined. The Boat House has three private rooms to choose from, all with magnificent views and access to decking and gardens at the lake s edge, as well as ample parking at the front door. BOAT HOUSE RECEPTIONS Venues Walters or East Rooms Saturday Friday minimum minimum Lunch - $2,000 Lunch - $1,500 Dinner - $5,100 Dinner - $5,100 Room capacity up to 48 people (no dance floor) Our East and Walters rooms are perfect for an intimate gathering for those looking at a wedding experience with close friends and relatives. We can accommodate up to 24 guests on a single long table or move into round tables to fit up to 48 guests with no dance floor. Both rooms have access to the deck for the duration of the wedding and wonderful views over the lake. 3 West End Room Saturday minimum Lunch - $5,500 Dinner - $11,900 Friday minimum Lunch - $5,000 Dinner - $8,500 Room capacity up to 60 people (including dance floor) West End has an outstanding north facing aspect and view, including the Kingston Foreshore, Parliament House and Kings Avenue Bridge. Access to the large lakefront deck, and a fireplace in winter, make this a perfect room for wedding receptions.

Our East/West rooms combined offer 180 views of the lake as well as deck just metres from the water. In winter, a fireplace in the West room can add a cosy atmosphere. We can accommodate up to 100 seated guests including dance floor. For bookings above 100 guests, we recommend looking at the option of booking the whole venue. BOAT HOUSE RECEPTIONS Cocktail Weddings Our cocktail wedding package borrows from all the elements of a traditional Boat House sit down reception, and combines them to create an amazing experience for both you and your guests. More than simply a cocktail party, this is a true wedding reception which allows your guests to mingle freely whilst still enjoying the flavours and service of a fine dining meal. 11 Cocktail Room Capacities Due to the varying setup requirements for cocktail weddings please speak to our wedding coordinator to discuss room capacities in more detail. Numbers can range from 30 250 guests.

Terms and Conditions 24 Confirmation of Bookings After a tentative booking has been placed, confirmation is required within the time period specified in your booking email. Setup and Pack Down Times Standard bump in and out times are 60 mins prior and post to package commencement and finish. Longer times can be arranged, please contact us for details. Final Numbers Final numbers are due 1 week prior, with small changes acceptable up to two business days prior. Large slippages or increases may incur costs. Invoice charges will reflect the final numbers provided two business days prior, however increases in numbers after this date will be added to the invoice. Menus and Beverage Items Every effort is made to ensure consistency of menu and beverage items across the seasonal menus and package period, however we reserve the right to substitute menu items, or beverages including wines on offer with a suitable substitute if the need arises. Finalisation of Menus and Reception Details Function details and menus must have finalised no later than the Wednesday of the week prior to your reception. Payment Payment terms and conditions are outlined on your booking form. Public Holidays To offset the cost of penalty rates paid to staff, a 15% surcharge on the total bill is applicable for functions held on public holidays. Security and RSA The management reserves the right to exclude or remove any persons from the function or the premises without liability. The Liquor Licensing Act prohibits the licensed person from serving alcohol to persons under 18 years of age, or to persons the staff deem to be intoxicated. We are a licensed premise and adhere to the responsible service of alcohol at all times. Delivery and Collection of Goods Goods may only be delivered with prior organisation. All goods must be clearly labelled with your reception name. Goods not collected up the next business day are assumed abandoned and will be discarded. Package Extensions Please speak to our wedding coordinator to discuss extension costs. Extensions can only be done with prior arrangement, and not on the day of the reception.
