Organising a funeral reception can add to the stress of losing a family member or close friend. At Hotel Felix, we understand what a difficult time this can be for you and for your family and we aim to make the planning as easy and stress-free as possible. Entrusting us with the organisation of the funeral reception means that you have one less thing to worry about. We will ensure that your guests are welcomed to the hotel in person, made to feel comfortable and catered for with the level of care and attention expected on such an emotional day. Enclosed in this pack is a selection of menus. However if you would like to consider and discuss alternative ideas, please do not hesitate to ask. Menus When choosing a menu you will need to consider the time of day the service is taking place and also if guests have travelled a long distance to attend the funeral. An afternoon tea may suffice, but if you are looking for something a little more substantial, a finger buffet is a good choice. Guest Accommodation If you have family and friends who are travelling some distance, we are happy to offer a discount on accommodation booked in conjunction with your function. Please speak to one of our events team for further information. Location Situated on the outskirts of Cambridge, Hotel Felix is easily accessible from all major transport routes and is just 3 miles from Cambridge Crematorium. We also provide direct access for disabled and elderly guests and have ample complimentary car parking. If you would like to arrange to visit Hotel Felix to view our private rooms and discuss menu options in more detail, please call 01223 277977.
