ROOMS Rooftop Bar This unique and highly sort after destination is nestled between the popular Balcony Bar and Torrens Room. Having no exclusively allocated bar, this area cannot be hired out independently but can be hired in addition to either the Balcony Bar or Torrens Room. This space can be hired in full or can be partitioned for half use. Below is a sample set menu to inspire ideas about what can be created for you. We also invite you to organise a time to meet with our Function Manager and Head Chef to discuss a personalised menu if you wish. This buffet at the table style option provides guests with a unique and interactive food experience and the opportunity to taste a variety of delicious dishes.

CONFERENCE PACKAGES Half Day Usage (Less than five hours) Complimentary room hire is offered if lunch or dinner and a beverage (coffee or other) is purchased for each attending guest. Meals can be selected from our regular ala carte menu, our $15 lunch special options or platters of assorted baguettes, wraps and/or sandwiches can be organised in advance (pricing below). A room hire fee of $150 will apply for use of the room if you do not wish to make the above purchases. Full Day Usage (More than five hours) Complimentary room hire is offered if lunch and/or dinner, morning and/or afternoon tea and a beverage (coffee or other) is purchased for each attending guest. Meals can be selected from our regular ala carte menu, our $15 lunch specials or platters of assorted baguettes, wraps and/or sandwiches can be organized in advance (pricing below). Cocktail food platters (included in our function package) can also be provided but must be ordered a minimum of ten days in advance. A room hire charge of $200 will apply for use of the room if required purchases are not made. TERMS AND CONDITIONS Bookings are confirmed once the room hire payment (or an agreed deposit amount) and this signed terms and conditions document has been returned to The Cathedral Hotel. Tentative bookings not confirmed within 14 days may be released at the discretion of the Cathedral Hotel Management. Security: Security personnel may be required in attendance at your event if there are expected to be a considerable amount of younger guests. Security personnel are allocated by the Cathedral Hotel at a cost of $150 which is charged to the client. Final numbers are required 5 working days prior to your function. You will be charged according to your final number confirmation or head count, whichever is greater. The final menu approval must be confirmed no less than 10 days prior to your event. Payment: Payment must be made in full at the conclusion of your event. Cash, eftpos or credit card are the only acceptable forms of payment. If the agreed minimum spend is not reached then the balance must be paid on the night. Responsibility: The client is financially responsible for any loss or damage caused by the client or their guests to the hotel or its property. The Cathedral Hotel is not responsible for any loss or damage to any property, merchandise, personal effects or equipment provided by the client before, during or after the function. All damages will be paid by the client. Cancellation: If a cancellation occurs, the Cathedral Hotel will not refund the deposit. In addition to this, cancellations made within two weeks of the function date will also incur a $500 cancellation fee. Cleaning: General cleaning is included in the cost of the function. However, if cleaning requirements following your function are judged to be excessive by Cathedral Hotel Management, additional cleaning charges will be incurred. Decorations or displays may be used by the client. The Hotel does not permit anything to be screwed, nailed or adhered to any surface. Confetti, and the like, are also not permitted. Guests are to supply their own ladders and are asked that no furniture is used for standing on. Licensing and Entertainment: Function rooms are licensed until 1am. Hotel Management reserve the right to refuse entry or service to any function guest. In some cases ID will be required to be produced to Management if guests are consuming alcohol. It is a legal requirement that minors leave the premises by midnight. Any under-age guest caught consuming alcohol will be evicted from the premises immediately. No food or beverage is to be brought into the hotel by the client unless prior arrangements have been made with Management. Bottles of wine brought into the venue for consumption during functions are charged at the standard corkage rate of $15 per bottle for the first six bottles. Any further bottles consumed are charged at $20 per bottle (maximum 20 bottles per function). Prices are subject to change unless a deposit has been paid.
