Day 4 This morning you will meet by your local English speaking guide at your hotel for a half day Montmartre Discover Tour. By the end of the 19th century Montmartre was a Mecca for artists, writers, poets ad their disciples who gathered to sample the cabarets and revues which made Montmartre s reputation. The hill of Montmartre still has its charms and the village atmosphere remains remarkably intact. There is the old village square and the World famous Place du Tertre with its cafes and artists where quick portrait artists and souvenir sellers thrive. Fishermen, millers and tanners once lived and worked in this part of town where the streets have been built level with the waterways. Day 10 Meet your English-speaking driver-guide at the hotel and enjoy the scenic route of Champagne through picturesque Grand Cru villages like Ay, Hautvillers, Bouzy, Le Mesnil, Vernezay, and much more. Enjoy a shared visit and tasting at Moët & Chandon et Grande Maison de Champagne and continue with Avenue de Champagne in Epernay, which is known as the Capital of Champagne. Epernay s stunning main street appears like an exhibition of opulent mansions, including Perrier-Jouet, and Mercier among its many tenants.
