Terms and conditions 1. An annual price increase is applicable. As soons as a booking is confirmed within 7 days and the deposit paid, the quoted price will be applicable. 2. In the case of chilldren attending the function, the following prices will apply: children 0-4 years R50, children 5-9 years 50% and children older than 10 pay full price. 3. Prices on catering include the set-up, waiters and clean-up fee. 4. The venue fee is payable as deposit as soon as the quotation is accepted. This, together with a completed booking form reserve the date and is non-refundable. Quoted prices are only applicable for 7 days. 5. A refundable breakage fee of R1 500 is payable with the settlement of the final invoice 7 days prior to the function. The balance is paid back within 10 days after the function. Should damage greater than this amount occur, an invoice will be sent to you for payment as set out on the quoting contractors' invoice. Only contractors approved by management may be used. 6. The final totals of guests, seating plans, selected catering choices, as well as any special requirements must be put in writing to us at least 10 days prior to the function. A final invoice will then be sent to you for settlement of your account. 7. The total invoice must be paid 7 (seven) days prior to the function. Failure to comply will result in the booking being forfeited. 8. No cash may be deposited into our bank account. You will be held accountable for additional bank charges. 9. The music must stop at 24h00. 10. You have use of the venue for 9 hours. Extended stay will be calculated at R350 per hou The extended stay fee is payable within 3 days after the function/wedding or will be deducted from the deposit paid. 11. Set-up done by the client can be done on the day prior to the function from 10h00 to 16h30, should there not be any other functions booked, otherwise on the morning of the function/wedding. 12. There may be other simultaneous parties booked at Droomplaas at the various venues. 13. The person responsible for the account will also be held responsible for any damages or loss. 14. NO tables/features/furniture may be moved by any party other than Droomplaas employees, nor may any décor be applied on the walls without permission, nor may fixed features be removed without permission. 15. In the case of loadshedding or any other power failure, we have a generator available at R250 per hour. This is also payable within 3 days after the function/wedding. 16. Should the venue be booked on a public holiday, an additional R1 000 will be added to your invoice for staff overtime.
17. Failure to pay any outstanding money after the function /wedding, will result in your account being handed over to debt collectors and you will be held responsible for any legal fees arising in this matter. 18. Failure to do so can result in losing your booking. Receipt of the booking form by Droomplaas management is essential to secure the booking. Indemnity I understand that neither Droomplaas Troue & Funksie Venue, nor any of it's contractors, owners or management shall be liable for any injury, loss or damage whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, to any person, contractor or property made use of for any reason for the purpose of the function, or attending the function, as result of any cause whatsoever.
