CASTRO VALLEY WOMEN S CLUB FEBRUARY 2018 NEWSLETTER (510) 461-7692/E-mail: cvwomensclub@aol.com Website:castrovalleywomensclub.weebly.com/facebookwww.comcvwc Presidents Message: February is turning out to be a very busy month. Be sure to check out all this month s activities as you don t want to miss a thing! We have our annual Valentine s Day Dine-Out Lunch at the Ice Creamery; an Adventure to the Eugene O Neil Tao House; you won t want to miss our speaker, Mary Louise Zernicke at the General Meeting, and finally, our Grand Hungarian Dinner Fundraiser for SOS Meals on Wheels. We will be forming a Nominating Committee in our February meeting. We need five (5) members and two alternates, if possible. Please let me know if you can serve on this committee. The responsibilities and process is outlined in the Club Roster. The report will be given at the March meeting at which time nominations from the floor shall be called for. If you have an interest in serving on either the Nominating Committee or as an esteemed member of the Board, please let me know. We will not be forming a Funding Committee this year as our donation dollars will all be going to our annual CVHS Scholarships and SOS/Meals on Wheels except for the small donations we have already made to the CVHS Madrigals and the 100 Club. March is the month for our Library Showcase. We are still looking for members to help out on the committee. There will not be major changes to the display; however, there are some changes. Any help will be appreciated. Happy, Happy Valentine s Day to all. Carolyn
