ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR IN HOUSE Bar All Banquet areas are equipped with a private bar, which can accommodate any beverage needs for your event. Please refer to Event Coordinator with any questions regarding bar set-ups. Full liquor bars are subject to a $25 set-up fee, and any cash bars are subject to an additional $25 fee. A/V Equipment We offer a wide selection of Audio Visual equipment available for rental in our banquet rooms, including projectors and projection screens and microphones. Our banquet coordinator will work with you to accommodate your needs. Linens All banquet tables will have white and black linens. If you require a different color or style, we can accommodate requests at an additional charge. Policies In lieu of a room fee, there is a minimum purchasing amount for food in order to reserve our private facilities. Please keep these in mind when building your menu. Michigan Room: $400 Fri/Sat Night: $500 Wine Cellar: $250 Fri/Sat Night: $350 Upstairs Dining Room: Inquire w/ Event Coordinator A valid credit card is required to hold our banquet rooms. Nothing is charged up-front to the credit card. A different source of payment may be used for final payment. Our cancellation policy is two weeks. Events cancelled within two weeks of the room reservation are subject to a $250 cancellation fee, which will be applied to the credit card given at time of booking. A 20% gratuity and 6% sales tax will be added to all banquets. The balance of your bill is due the day of your event, unless prior billing arrangements have been made. Guest count must be finalized one week prior to your scheduled event. Final charge will be based on the final guest count given at this time. Cottage Inn will be prepared to serve 5% over your final guarantee if guests are added after final count is given. Banquet menus must be finalized two weeks prior to your scheduled event. Any prepared food leftover from all-you-can-eat buffet-style meals may not be taken out of the banquet facility due to state health policies. Although your reservation guarantees you one of our private rooms, we reserve the right to move your party to another room if necessary to accommodate a larger group. Decorations must be arranged with management. Damages to the property that might occur during your party will be the responsibility of the person/persons hosting the party.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR OFF-PREMISE CATERING Bar & Beverages The Original Cottage Inn can provide certified bartenders for your event. In accordance with state laws, all alcohol must be provided by the host. Ask your catering coordinator about bartending rates and information. We are also able to provide non-alcoholic beverages for any event. Cutlery Disposable plates, napkins, and utensils will be included for all catered events. We also offer china and rolled silverware for an additional charge of $3.50 per guest. Linens For all full-service catering events we will provide white tablecloths. Please inform us in advance of the number of tables that will need linens. If you require a different color or style, we can accommodate your requests for an additional charge. Rentals We work closely with reputable rental companies in the area. We are happy to help arrange the rental of tents, tables, chairs, or anything else you may need. Staff Our trained catering staff will attend to you and your guests. Our standard gratuity for full-service catering is 20%. Additional charges apply for on-site grilling, prime rib carving, or other additional services. Our catering staff will be available for 3 hours from the start time of your event. Additional service time may be purchased at an hourly rate. When organizing off-premise events, please consider appropriate parking and unloading zones for our staff and vehicles.
