This is a technique that is originally used in sewing but may be adapted to cake decorating. Once you master this, you will look at patterns with different eyes and be eager to try new designs. Instructor will provide all supplies for use in class. CHRISTMAS CUPCAKE TOPS $60.00 Have fun making different Christmas cupcake tops for your holiday celebration. Student needs to bring (6) undecorated cupcakes. All other supplies will be provided by the instructor. WRITING IN ICING $60.00 Having difficulty in writing on your cakes? This is the class for you. It is practice, practice, practice. You will be provided with practice sheets containing several different styles of writing, shown how to obtain the correct flowing icing to be able to write without difficulty. You will be shown how to free your icing from any small lumps to avoid blockages as you are writing. We will use buttercream for this class but the same technique may be used with royal icing. She is a graduate Pastry Chef of L Academie de Cuisine, Ewald Notter Chocolate Class and Blown & Pulled Sugar, the Roland Winbeckler Professional Course, the Amy Malone School of Cake Decorating and has completed a course of study in the art of airbrush with Frances Kuyper. Ms. Loveland has travelled extensively and has also taught in the United Kingdom. All classes are taught by Beryl Loveland.
