This is due to a global shortage because of recent crop failures especially in Turkey which provides 80% of the worlds dried apricot supply. Metcash are currently asking for tenders from other suppliers to try and reduce the impact but the results from the tender will not be seen for another 4 weeks. Please note that the Statewide warehouse still have available a small amount of the B/Gold 200gm Dried Apricots P/N 129066 at the old price. When this stock is all sold out the product will be deleted from the warehouse due to the high price increase but will still be available through Metcash.
