INNOVATION AND QUALITY Even the best product packaged with the best ingredients is killed by pasteurization. 25 years ago,starting with this idea, we invented and developed a unique technology, first PATENTED and then CERTIFIED. The intuition that makes us unique? Decreasing the amount of water inside the leaves of the plants, so as to avoid nourishing bacterial forms and ensure a long shelf life. We can guarantee over time the freshness,the colour and the aroma of our products for more than two years in jar and one year in a plastic container. A dedicated factory, over 500 tons of fresh vegetables processed each year from May to October, selected and analyzed daily. All this to get to a unique result: CONSTANTLY FRESH PRODUCTS WHICH MAINTAIN THEIR BEST CHARACTERISTICS IN THE COURSE OF THE TIME. 5

Born and raised for large retailers, it proposes the ingredients and then the traditional flavours of the classic line. The only difference is that for Colombo we decided to use sunflower oil instead of olive oil. Those who have really enjoyed it have made it a TOP SELLER using extra virgin olive oil. 17
ART IN FOOD LINE
Art in Food is Pesto Vivo, the best we have been able to do in Costa Ligure : a special selection of basil, parmesan cheese matured 18 months, extra virgin olive oil and whole pine nuts. To dress it we were inspired by Pop Art of the 60s, a such loved period... For Art in Food we wanted to develop the concept of an infinite choice of pesto, which is why the line includes Paprika Pesto, Arrabbiata Pesto, Lemon Pesto, Sage and Truffle Pesto. Any other Costa Ligure product can be dressed Art in Food and the guideline is always the same: selection of ingredients and utmost care in the preparation. 19

In our vacuum-sealed catering packages we can offer to our customers not only the same products of the retail line, but also the basics diluted in oil. Why give a creative chef a completed Pesto? Better to give a base of basil in oil that allows him to invent the final recipe. DOSETTE When you have a perfect product such as our Old genoa Pesto, all that you need to do is to offer your customers a choice of uses. That s why the Dosettes and the Toppings of Pesto alla Genovese were created. Both the 15g and the 25g Dosette give seasoning in various situations. Small, safe, and easy to open, they can be inserted in the envelope of the pizza and for example used with salmon and in canteens or where hundreds of meals are prepared every day. Ideal to optimize costs and dose it precisely.
TOPPING For the Topping instead we took into consideration the fact that with the exception of Italy, in all other countries Genovese Pesto is used to accompany all types of dishes and sandwiches and with the convenient up-side down bottle you squeeze and Hey Presto! The sandwich is ready as well as the caprese salad and of course... the pasta. No more spoons and containers or open jars to clutter the kitchen table. Here are the first excellent results already available for our customers: The Cream of Dill and the Dill Pesto for the markets of Northern Europe. The Cream of Coriander and the Coriander Pesto for the countries of South America and Asia. The Cream of Green Shiso and the Cream of Red Shiso for Asian countries.

SEMI-FINISHED PRODUCTS Another unique offer that only Costa Ligure can give to its customers. The semifinished products that until recently were used exclusively by Costa Ligure for the Retail and Catering, today, thanks to a new dedicated factory are offered directly to Industry. The Industry of Bread, Pasta, Meat and Fish can enjoy huge benefits from the use of the Costa Ligure semi-finished products in terms of performance and results. Our semi-finished products are extremely concentrated and once mixed in oil can reach three times the initial weight. The final result is exceptional and not comparable with those obtained so far with dehydrated or freeze-dried products. The packages in vacuum-sealed bags in weight from 1 kg to 12 kg are prepared to the needs of the customer to facilitate use and storage. Basil
