The Toxteth Hotel, affectionately named the Tocky by our locals, boasts three great areas in which to host your next function. We offer wide-ranging flexible canapé & set menu options to suit all tastes and budgets. Whether it is a birthday party, product launch or corporate lunch, we tailor each event to suit your needs. The Tate Gallery The upstairs Tate gallery is our very own art space that transforms into the perfect place for any function or event. With the capacity to hold 120 people (80 if seated), this exposed brick, warehouse style space offers its own private bar and picturesque views of the city. The Yard The sun drenched Yard Bar is easily our most popular space in the venue. With its mismatched furniture and vibrant island bar it offers a funky, spacious al fresco sanctuary for both open air drinking & dining. Due to its popularity, we hire out sections of the yard bar for larger groups. While we don t charge venue hire, we have a $1500 minimum spend for groups of over 50 on weekends, which can be allocated to both food & drinks. A deposit of $500 secures your booking & taken off your bar tab on the night.

The Fireplace Room Our Fireplace room is super cosy in winter with a roaring fire yet with the sliding windows it becomes open and airy in the warmer months. This space seats 50 comfortably with a capacity of 60 in a cocktail setting. There is no charge or minimum spend for the booking of this space. CANAPÉ MENU OPTIONS We offer a wide variety of canapé options to suit all tastes and budgets. Canapés can be purchased by the platter or by the piece (minimum 15 pieces) and we recommend 3-4 pieces per person to provide a snack.
