As a passionate lifelong artist, Sandy spends much of her free time pursuing creative endeavors, working on projects in a variety of media. Her subject matter ranges from purely representational to abstract themes and often references the relationships between the arts - visual arts, textile, literature and music. Her colourful multimedia paintings incorporate layers of watercolour, ink, acrylics and sometimes collage on paper, canvas or board and she has recently begun working again in oil. She has exhibited work in numerous juried shows including the Sidney and Sooke Fine Art shows and the FCA. Sandy has been a show designer for almost 30 years, responsible for the installation of the Sidney Fine Art Show since its inception in 2003 and the Saanich Peninsula Arts & Crafts annual shows since 1988. Sandy has a Master s degree in Art History and lives in Victoria where she is also a CPA, CMA working as an accountant at the University of Victoria.

This tasting will give you an overview of what Irish Whisky's are available and may help in your choice of whisky's during your St Patrick's Day celebration. April 5, 2017 Whisky tasting 101 Review This tasting will be used as a review in how to get the most out your whisky. We ll talk about what impacts the flavours during the whisky making process, as well as the nosing and tasting techniques of whisky experts. We will be exploring a wide spectrum of whisky's and reviewing tasting profiles associated to certain makes of whiskey and distilleries. May 3, 2017 One of these is not a Scotch After all this review and honing of tasting skills we are ready to test ourselves with a blind tasting. Whiskies will be representative of Scotlands whisky Regions except one is an imposter.
