carrot cake Carrot Cake. Two things that, by all accounts, should not go together but they do. No clue if this anecdote is true, but according to Wikipedia: Another story indicates that following the Second World War there was a glut of canned carrots in the United States. A business man named George C. Page hired master bakers to find uses for the cans of carrots. He somehow promoted the idea of carrot cake to help create a demand for the product. Our pairing experts really stepped up their game this week and found the perfect coffee pairing for this delicious treat: DARE TO PAIR - Organic Coffee Company Sumatra Mandeling Indonesia s classic coffee grown on small farms and carefully processed.
