Susannah joined CMAA in 2007 and was first elected to serve as an Ohio Valley Chapter Officer in 2014. During her tenure in the organization, she has served as Secretary Treasurer, and Vice President, as well as serving as Certification Chair and Membership Chair. By its mission, the Ohio Valley Chapter/CMAA will provide the highest quality educational and professional services to its members for the benefit of the clubs they manage. It will promote excellence in club management and operate with the highest level of integrity, service, and distinction. The Chapter was founded in 1936 and its members include 138 Managers from Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia. The Management Association of America (CMAA) is the largest professional association for managers of membership clubs with 6,500 members throughout the US and internationally. Our managers operate more than 2,500 country, golf, athletic, city, faculty, military, town and yacht clubs. The objectives of the association are to promote relationships between club management professionals and other similar professions; to encourage the education and advancement of members; and to provide the resources needed for club managers to operate efficiently and successfully. CMAA is headquartered in Alexandria, VA, with 45 professional chapters and more than 45 student chapters and colonies.
