To Our Members, It s officially summer and the BYC looks fabulous! The hydrangeas at the entrance, the potted plants on the upper deck patio and the ferns on both patios make the Club look better than it ever has. We owe a big thank you to Fleet Captain Jim Kulwicki for arranging for all of the plantings. After less than stellar spring weather, we re looking forward to a beautiful summer. The club had a very busy June, and we have received compliments on the food and service from just about everyone who has dined with us. Our new summer menus are out and there is a wide variety of offerings for you to choose from. We will be offering a raw bar on the upper patio on the second Friday of each month, including clams, oysters, and cocktail shrimp. The first raw bar of the season was in June and it was so popular that we decided to host one every month until the end of the summer. Even if you re not a seafood fan, you can enjoy a cocktail on the patio with arguably the best view in Western New York. Junior Sailing at the BYC The BYC offers week-long sailing camps Monday-Friday, 9AM-4PM from July 3rd through August 18th. There are classes for all levels of experience: beginners (ages 7-12 and ages 12-16), intermediate and advanced. Enroll in one or more weekly camps (a discount applies for multiple weeks) and select non-consecutive weeks if that better fits your summer plans. All courses are led by US Sailing Certified Coaches and are not restricted to BYC members.
