Latteria Sociale Mantova was founded in 1929 as a cooperative of dairy cattle farmers, with a long tradition of passion and commitment for work, love for land, and for a healthy diet. Today we are the largest farmers cooperative in the North-East of Italy, specialized in the production of Grana Padano cheese, cream, milk, and concentrated whey. We are the second producer in Italy of Grana Padano and the first exporter in Europe, Asia, Americas, Africa and Oceania. The Corporate philosophy is based on environmental awareness and respect for nature: cows are fed with selected feed from the Mincio River Natural Park, whose area dates back to many centuries ago. This type of land management is known in the Pianura Padana since the Middle Ages. The fields have never underwent any plowing or turning over. They are not cultivated and left to native vegetation for a long time, from a minimum of 12 months to a maximum of hundreds of years. This contributes to the growth of an excellent forage and consequently provides an extraordinary hay, highly appreciated by the cows and more appropriate for their health. The milk is therefore of superior quality and guarantees our Grana Padano starting from the top of the productive chain. The maximum hygiene and safety is ensured by sophisticated analysis, procedures and quality controls, in total respect for EU regulations. Our technical certifications are: HACCP, BRC, IFS, ICEA Organic Cert, Halal and Kosher. We are focused on research, innovation, marketing strategies, and packaging design, to increase the appeal, the visibility, and the functionality of products. We have an extremely skilled Sales Team, consisting of dynamic and enthusiastic people, who are able to go the extra mile, in order to create positive and long-lasting partnerships with customers from all over the world.
