LARGE-BOTTLE SELECTION CHAMPAGNE 1381 PERRIER-JOUËT GRAND BRUT...(MAGNUM) N.V. 170.00 Great balance and a lingering finish mark this zesty, full-flavored brut as something special. Rich in fruit flavor, crisp in balance, with an underlying tangy quality that begs for another sip. The Wine Spectator RED WINES-AMERICAN 1390 CABERNET SAUVIGNON, JOSEPH PHELPS, NAPA VALLEY..(MAGNUM) 2005. 220.00 Smooth-textured, supple and harmonious, with subtle layers of currant, spice, herb, anise and light cedary oak, ending with a graceful mix of ripe fruit and fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2013. Wine Spectator Rating 91 DESSERT WINES 1399 DOLCE, LATE HARVEST,, FAR NIENTE, NAPA A VALLEY... (MAGNUM)...1997. 490.00 "Absolutely delicious. Dessert in a glass. The ripe and rich fig, apricot, anise, vanilla bean, pear and butterscotch flavors of this Sémillion blend are thick yet elegant, accented by lively orange peel and citrus notes." The Wine Spectator Rating 96 PAGE 5

CHAMPAGNE TETE DE CUVEE 118 CUVEE DOM PERIGNON 1999 305.00 Pale yellow. An enticing blend of red berries, butter and toast on the nose; this settled down to an earthy, smoky character that reminded me of Batard-Montrachet. Full and rich, with flavors of musky yellow plum and ripe pear accented by crisp mineral notes. Really long and vibrant on the building finish. Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar Rating 93 112 KRUG BRUT... 1995. 250.00 A very youthful 95. Delicate. Intense aromas of ginger, citrus, candied berry and multigrain bread turn to honey, roasted almonds and graphite on the palate. It s all underscored by a precise structure and creamy texture. Its structure keeps it persistent through the long finish. A picture of precision and intensity. Drink now through 2025. 1,700 cases imported. Wine Spectator Rating "98" 130 KRUG, GRAND CUVEE...MULTI. 215.00 Super texture, like velvet, offers the perfect backdrop for a kaleidoscope of flavors?coconut, ginger, vanilla, berries and tobacco. Beautifully integrated, with a firm underpinning of acidity keeping it all focused and fresh. Terrific length. Drink now through 2010. Wine Spectator Rating 95 120 LOUIS ROEDERER, CRISTAL... 2004.. 375.00 "The 2004 Brut Cristal has put on quite a bit of weight since I first tasted it earlier this year. It is a powerful, structured Cristal layered with considerable fruit. Chardonnay seems to play the leading role in 2004, at least today. Cristal is often accessible young, but that is far from the case here. This is a serious, painfully young Cristal that will require considerable patience. Readers who are willing to spend some time with the wine today will find a super-impressive, complete Cristal. The 2004 Cristal is 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. This is Lot L033331E100008, disgorged January, 2010. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2034. Wine Advocate Rating 97 125 PERRIER-JOUET, FLEUR DE CHAMPAGNE BRUT... 2002. 195.00 Hints of burnt sugar and toffee accent this bright Champagne, along with notes of apple pie, breaddough, cream and candied lemon peel. There's a fine balance between the wine's finesse and its livelycharacter, with a long, smoke-tinged finish. Better than previously reviewed. Drink now through 2024. Wine Spectator Rating 94 121 VEUVE CLICQUOT,, LA GRAND DAME... 1995. 250.00 Very distinctive. Bold and complex, exhibiting roasted elements of toasted bread, nuts and coffee, along with dried fuit and citrus nuances. The structure is firm and fresh, with a superlong finish evoking walnuts. Wine Spectator Rating 94 PAGE 6

CHAMPAGNE NON-VINT VINTAGE ROSE 134 LAURENT-PERRIER CUVÉE ROSÉ...MULTI. 150.00 100% Pinot Noir from 100% Grand Cru Vineyards Pale salmon color. Brisk, pinot-like aromas of raspberry, strawberry, smoke, toast and honeysuckle. Bright and frothy in the mouth, with vibrant, firm-edged red berry flavors that call to mind a Russian River Valley pinot noir. A real fruit bomb, but dry and brisk on the back end. Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar Rating "90" 144 MOËT ET CHANDON BRUT IMPERIAL ROSÉ... N V. 110.00 Traditional but exciting style of dry rosé, designed for dinner. Has a copper color, toasty aromas, firm texture and subtle fruit and spice flavors that linger on the finish. The Wine Spectator Rating 91 135 NICOLAS FEUILLATTE BRUT ROSE...N V...95.00 A distinctive rosé Champagne that smells like potpourri or Christmas punch with its cinnamon and clove accents. There s depth and intensity to the berry and whole-grain bread notes, matched to a raw silk texture and vibrant structure. Excellent length. Wine Spectator Rating 92 137 VEUVE CLICQUOT ROSE... N.V.. 135.00 Drawing on the success of the yellow label, the pink twist is sure to attract trendy drinkers. With a fine mousse and dark salmon hue, this Champagne greets you with raspberry and strawberry aromas. What follows is deep, intense and strong all characteristically Veuve. Winemaker s Tasting Notes PAGE 7

CHAMPAGNE NON-VINT VINTAGE 143 LAURENT-PERRIER BRUT... N.V....75.00 "Very fresh, precise aromas lime, chalk and golden raisin. Lively, spicy and concentrated; rich and round but light on its feet thanks to perfectly integrated acidity. Intriguing note of green cardamom. Finishes with excellent grip and persistence. A terrific non-vintage brut." Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar Rating "90" 147 MOET CHANDON BRUT IMPERIAL... N.V....85.00 Its aromas reveal an exotic fruitiness yellow peach, plum, pineapple and honey and elegant blond notes. The palate is seductive and generous, combining intensity with roundness, fullness with suppleness, followed by a lively crisp finish to reveal the magical balance of champagne. Winemaker s Tasting Notes 140 NICOLAS FEUILLATTE BRUT... N.V....62.00 This is a deliciously floral, light-bodied, wonderfully subtle yet effervescent Champagne that stood out in my tastings as one of the finest values in the non-vintage category. Wine Advocate Rating 91 146 PERRIER-JOUËT GRAND BRUT... N.V....80.00 Great balance and a lingering finish mark this zesty, full-flavored brut as something special. Rich in fruit flavor, crisp in balance, with an underlying tangy quality that begs for another sip. The Wine Spectator 148 TAITTINGER BRUT LA FRANÇAISE... N.V....95.00 Toast, honey, peach, and citrus flavors come together effortlessly in this balanced, elegant Champagne. The fine mousse adds to the textural component, and this ends on a refreshing note. Wine Spectator Rating 90 141 VEUVE CLICQUOT YELLOW LABEL... N.V.. 105.00 The blend shows good maturity and earth. The texture is rich and creamy, then the acidity sweepsit up into a long finish, the Champagne flavors are clear as a bell. A super non-vintage brut. The Wine & Spirits Buying Guide Rating 90 METHODE CHAMPENOISE 160 J VINEYARDS & WINERY, CUVEE 20, BRUT... N.V....48.00 This J non-vintage Brut gracefully opens up with crisp lemon peel, honeysuckle and delicate yeast aromas. Upon entry, these notes follow through to a mix of Fuji apple and grapefruit interlaced with toast, caramel and almond flavors on the mid-palate. Winemaker s Tasting Notes 155 BELLAVISTA BRUT, FRANCIACORTA, LOMBARDY... N.V...70.00 "It exhibits a refined bouquet of yeasty bread, dried apricots, pear, and citrus. This wine, which spent three years on its lees, is rich, fresh, medium-bodied, and long in the mouth, with tiny pinpoint bubbles and a lot of frothiness. This is a brilliant wine from winemaker Mattia Bezzola. The reference point for brilliantly pure, elegant, Italian sparkling wine, this offering can stand up to the finest Champagnes." Wine Advocate Rating "91" 161 PROSECCO DI VALDOBBIADENE, NINO FRANCO RUSTICO... N.V....38.00 The non-vintage, light-bodied Prosecco di Valdobiaddene Rustico offers gorgeously elegant, fresh, lively fruit, notes of bread dough and citrus, and persistent effervescence. It is almost impossible to believe this low-priced wine is so good. Wine Advocate Rating 90 162 PROSECCO EXTRA DRY, LA MARCA, VENETO... N.V....36.00 A delicate, well-balanced Prosecco, showing a good blend of baked apple, sour lemon and grapefruit, with a lightly creamy mineral texture on the palate. Medium froth, with some body and a pleasant lemon and mineral finish. Winemaker s Tasting Notes PAGE 8

AMERICAN WHITE WINES CHARDONNAY 207 CAKEBREAD CELLARS, NAPA A VALLEY... 2008. 105.00 Our Napa Valley Chardonnay offers fresh, lovely pear and ripe Granny Smith apple aromas with supporting mineral, baked bread and baking spice scents. Full and richly textured on the palate, the citrusy crisp, spiced-apple and pear flavors are enriched by yeast and toasty oak tones that extend into a very long, rich, minerally finish. Winemaker s Tasting Notes 210 CHALK HILL, SONOMA... 2006. 110.00 Refreshing, intense and vibrant, with a mix of spice, floral, fig and apricot flavors that are rich, deep and complex, ending with a long, persistent finish. Wine Spectator Rating 90 212 CHATEAU MONTELENA, NAPA A VALLEY... 2008...90.00 Captivating aromas of apple, pear, fresh herbs, dried spices and flowers. Boasts very good density of texture and flavor intensity. Stephen Tanzer, International Wine Cellar Rating 90 214 CHÂTEAU STE. MICHELLE, CANOE RIDGE ESTATE, TE, COLUMBIA VALLEY. 2007...48.00 A fruit-centered wine, this sings with pear, grapefruit and peach aromas and flavors, perched enticingly on a lithe frame, with subdued oak notes lingering around the periphery. AMERICAN RED WINES CABERNET SAUVIGNON / MERITAGE 505 ELOGE PROPRIETARY RED, ANDERSON'S CONN VALLEY VINEYARDS. 2001. 145 45.00 "Readers looking for a fragrant St.-Emilion-like California red should check out the Anderson's Eloge cuvee. Rich, full, and intense is the 2001 Eloge (65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc, 7% Merlot, and 3% Petit Verdot). Its saturated plum/purple color is followed by copious quantities of jammy blackberry and cassis fruit with notions of cedar wood, tobacco, chocolate, and dried herbs. The full-throttle bouquet is accompanied by medium to full-bodied flavors with brilliant balance as well as purity, and a long, persistent finish. Wine Advocate Rating "92" 510 10 ELOGE PROPRIETARY RED, ANDERSON'S CONN VALLEY VINEYARDS. 2002. 150.00 The Eloge, a brilliant Bordeaux-styled blend of primarily Cabernet Sauvignon with some Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and occasionally Petit Verdot, is one of California s most exciting proprietary reds. The 2002 Eloge (65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Merlot) possesses a dense purple color in addition to sumptuous aromas of sweet black fruits, high class cigar smoke, incense, cedar, and licorice. With superb fat and purity as well as a long, seamless, full-bodied, harmonious finish, it is already appealing, but will easily age for 10-15 years. Wine Advocate Rating 92 506 B.R.. COHN, SILVER LABEL NORTH COAST... 2007...46.00 Trim and focused, with spice, dill, cedar, black cherry and plum flavors. Full-bodied and elegant, ending with delicate fruit and cedar notes. Drink now through 2016. 64,400 cases made." The Wine Spectator 507 B.R. COHN, OLIVE HILL, SONOMA VALLEY... 2007...95.00 This wine has much of the ripeness of 2004 with more pronounced aromas and flavors of plum, black currant, and cherry. As always, this exceptional vintage was fermented in small lots to ensure the character of each part of the Olive Hill Vineyard. Tasting Notes 501 BEAULIEU VINEYARD GEORGES DE LATOUR ATOUR, RESERVE, NAPA A VALLEY.. 2007. 265.00 The return of this superb Napa classic is fabulous news, and the brilliance of this wine is evidenced by its opaque purple color and its big, sweet, blackberry, cassis, subtle smoke, graphite, and spicy oak-scented nose. Dense and fullbodied with sweet but substantial tannins, thrilling levels of concentration, texture, and richness, and a heady finish, this wine will benefit from 4-5 years of bottle age, and last three decades or more. It s time to once again fill your cellars with the BV Private Reserve, one of the historic names in California wine folklore. Wine Advocate Rating 95 508 BEAULIEU VINEYARD,, TAPESTRY RESERVE, NAPA VALLEY... 2007...70.00 Aromas of fresh earth and mineral are taut and firm on the palate, with dried currant, sage, cedar and crushed rock. Full-bodied, tight and concentrated, ending with firm tannins that have a touch of chewiness. Wine Spectator Rating 93 503 BELL, CLARET, NAPA VALLEY... 2007... 62.00 A little on the soft side, but very dry, with smoky oak and blackberry fruit dominating. Feels good and chewy and rich, with interesting herb and spice notes. Give it a good decant. Wine Enthusiast Rating 90 518 BERINGER, KNIGHTS VALLEY... 2008... 48.00 The 2008 Knights Valley Cabernet exhibits the characteristics that I ve come to know and love from this iconic vineyard rich fruit, accented by rustic qualities. Aromas of red cherry, anise and blackberry preserves are followed by abundant flavors of black cherry and pink peppercorns. The round tannins are embraced by juicy fruit this vintage is approachable from the start. Dusty, savory characteristics linger into the finish. Tasting Notes PAGE 21
