GENERAL BILIMORIA WINES SOUTH AFRICA Pinotage With grapes sourced from old bush vines and oak-matured for about eight months, this is a medium- to full-bodied wine with berry and banana flavours. This outstanding Pinotage was made at the Beyerskloof Farm by the world-renowned winemaker Beyers Truter, winner of the 1991 Robert Mondavi Trophy for International Winemaker of the Year at the International Wine and Spirit Competition in London. Shiraz-Pinotage South Africa s rural west coast, where the Olifants River provides precious water for the rich soils, is ideally suited for the cultivation of grapes. This attractive blend of classic Shiraz and Pinotage results in a smooth, rich red wine with lots of soft berry fruit flavours and a fresh fruity aftertaste. Colombard-Chardonnay Also hailing from the Olifants River, this fresh, crisp blend of Colombard and Chardonnay produces a deliciously fruity white wine with flavours of citrus and tropical fruits. The smooth flavours make it a perfect accompaniment to food as well as being ideal for everyday drinking. Chenin Blanc This Chenin Blanc from the Swartland region of South Africa is a vibrantly fruity wine packed with citrus and tropical fruits with a crisp dry finish. Served chilled, this white wine is delicious on its own or as an accompaniment to a wide range of foods.
GENERAL BILIMORIA WINES FRANCE These classic French wines are from the renowned Languedoc region of France, long established as one of the world s leading wine growing areas. Merlot The Merlot has notes of luscious black berry fruits and a deep red colour with hints of violet to match. It is open and well-balanced in the mouth: full-flavoured yet soft and plummy on the palate. It is smooth in the mouth with a wonderful lingering finish. Terret Sauvignon The pale-gold Terret Sauvignon is a crisp and dry white wine, vibrant and bright. The nose is packed with citrus grapefruit in particular and is lively and fresh in the mouth.
