The Marquee We are proud to boast a stunning 200 seater Marquee which is situated in our grounds from April-October each year. This gorgeous, light & airy venue is absolutely perfect for wedding receptions, christenings, large parties, corporate functions and meetings. The Marquee is completely self contained with it s own bar, toilets, dance floor and kitchen facilities. So, if you re looking for something special, then look no further. THE SNUG An intimate room, capable of becoming private from the rest of the pub by closing the curtain. This space is perfect for a private dinner, celebration or business meeting with a large square table which can comfortably sit up to 12 people Thinking of having an informal gathering larger than 12 people? Then why not hire The Snug & The Broadlands area. T E R M S A N D C O N D I T I O N S HIRE CHARGES Hire of the venue is included in our day delegate packages, for bespoke meeting quotes a hire charge may apply. CONFIRMING A BOOKING Bookings can be held on a provisional basis for a period of 2 weeks time when required, but if we get other interest in the space you will be required to either confirm the booking or release the hold within 24 hours of such request. If we do not hear from you in this time the space will be released. To confirm your event booking at The Cromwell Arms we require a deposit. This is redeemable against your final bill and/or room hire charges. See PAYMENTS for details on the payment methods we accept. CANCELLATIONS If for any reason you need to cancel your event any deposits paid will be non refundable. PAYMENTS We accept all major debit and credit cards and cash. We cannot accept cheques, and any remaining charges must be settled on the day of the event. If you wish to pay by BACS, please let us know at least 14 days prior to your event as we need the payment cleared in our account at least 7 working days prior to the event date. If you require a VAT receipt please ask us on the day of your event. FOOD ORDERS We require a pre-payment in full for all pre-ordered food and we require final numbers (including all special dietary requirements) at least 7 days prior to your event. If this number is higher than the number that you originally confirmed when you paid the bill any outstanding total is payable prior to the event. After this time, if you need to increase your numbers we will do our very best to accommodate you but are unable to guarantee this. Any reductions in numbers with less than 7 days notice will be adjusted but will still be charged for. If you require information regarding the presence of allergens in any of our food or drink, please ask us in advance and we will be happy to provide this information. Whilst a dish may not contain a specific allergen, due to the wide range of ingredients used in our kitchen, foods may be at risk of cross contamination from other ingredients.

SERVICE CHARGE A 12.5% service charge is added to all food and drink bills. If you would like to pay this a different way, or if you did not think our service was up to scratch on the night, then please let us know and we will remove it from your bill. Please rest assured though, that all tips go directly to the members of staff who serve you. OPENING HOURS The Cromwell Arms is open every day from 8am until 11pm except for Sunday when it closes at 10:30pm. Please be aware that we have a responsibility to our neighbours so please keep noise to a minimum when leaving the event. Please note that the Marquee has different licensing hours. We all know that accidents sometimes happen; however, if there is any damage to the Cromwell Arms or the Marquee during your event, we may ask you to pay for any repairs, it is only fair after all.
