The weather wasn t the best, but at least it did not rain on us! My colleagues and I answered a few questions. It was a good day! Blueberries are being harvested now (second week of July) while blackberries started ripening in southern Ohio. Most growers in southern Ohio are done with black raspberries. Red raspberries are still going strong. Summer apples, such as Lodi and Yellow Transparent, are ripening. Before too long, peaches will start ripening. Please email your articles, announcements, or comments to me at Gao.2@cfaes.osu.edu Gary Gao, Ph.D. Small Fruit Extension Specialist and Associate Professor OSU South Centers To be added to our Ohio Fruit News ListServ: email Julie Strawser-Moose at moose.14@cfaes.osu.edu 2011 Southern Ohio Summer Grape Growing Workshop is August 19 th at OSU South Centers Are you interested in learning more about commercial wine grape production?
