Dynasty Room Rentals ~ General Information ~ Located downtown in the Belz Museum of Asian & Judaic Art, the Dynasty Room is a unique setting for any event. Decorated with Chinese antique furnishings, the space is particularly well suited for receptions and parties or small corporate groups and lectures. The room is adjacent to the Belz Museum of Asian & Judaic Art which boasts a rare collection of exquisite Chinese art, collections of fossils and minerals, and contemporary Judaic Art. Guided tours of the museum are available and are a perfect accompaniment for any event. Give your guests something unique to talk about for a long time to come! Accommodations The Dynasty Room can seat 40 people for a Luncheon, Tea, or Sit-down Dinner and up to 75 people Theater/Lecture style. Combined with the available Lobby and Entry Hall, the space can accommodate up to 400 people for a reception or cocktail party. Parking Parking is available in the Tower Garage on the corner of Peabody Place and Second Street. The museum will validate parking tickets for a discounted parking fee. ~ Museum Rental Pricing ~ Morning Meeting Rental (8am 10am) The Dynasty Room only, may be rented between the hours of 8am and 10 am, Tuesday thru Friday, for a flat fee of $250. Museum Tours can be purchased separately. A maximum of 75 people is allowed during the morning. $150 Non-refundable Deposit required. Daytime Rental (10am 5pm) During daytime hours, Tuesday thru Sunday, the Dynasty Room only, may be rented for a flat fee of $375. This includes access to the galleries and guided tours can be arranged. A maximum of 75 people is allowed during the day. $150 Non-refundable Deposit required. Full Day Rental (8am 5pm) During full day hours, Tuesday thru Friday, the Dynasty Room only, may be rented for a flat fee of $400. This includes access to the galleries after 10am and guided tours can be arranged. A maximum of 75 people is allowed during the full day. $150 Non-refundable Deposit required. Evening Rental (5pm 10pm) During the evening hours, Tuesday thru Sunday, the Dynasty Room, Lobby, and Entry Hall may be rented for a flat fee of $750. This includes access to the galleries and guided tours can be arranged. Set up for an evening event must be coordinated with staff. The Host of the event will be charged a security fee of $60.00 for every additional ½ hour the space is not cleared after 10 pm. A maximum of 400 people is allowed during the evening. $250 Non-refundable Deposit required.

~ Catering Options ~ The Belz Museum does not offer catering services; however, we do approve several caterers. A professional caterer is required for any event at the museum that involves food and beverages. All caterers must be licensed by the state of Tennessee and a copy of their license must be submitted to the museum no less than one week prior to the event. This is a list of referrals only. Projector and Projection screen that can be hooked up to a computer. Podium with microphone and speaker. Small kitchenette with sink, counter space, and small fridge. Coatrack and hangars for inclement weather. ~ Rental Conditions ~ The deposit MUST be paid to reserve the date; by phone, mail or in person. The balance will be due no later than one week before the start of the event. Reservation forms can be submitted by mail, fax or in person. The renter is responsible for the set-up, hosting the event and the tear-down at the end. The Belz Museum will provide amenities as listed and will set up the caterer s space. The renter will be responsible for getting a caterer who is licensed in the state of TN. The caterer will be responsible for food and drink clean-up and garbage disposal. The museum will supply garbage cans and liners. There is an additional security fee of $60 for every ½ hour the space is not cleared after 10 pm. There will be NO food or drink allowed in the galleries; Security and Museum Staff will enforce this. There may be an undercover security guard at your event to help Museum Staff. Sound ordinances will be observed for a DJ or Band on the roof.

Responsibilities for renting the museum are outlined below: 1. The deposit MUST be paid to reserve the date; by phone, mail, or in person. The balance will be due no later than one week before the start of the event. 2. If the event is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, the renter will still be responsible for the full cost of the rental; Postponements or re-scheduling will be at the discretion of The Belz Museum. 3. The renter is responsible for the set-up, hosting the event and the tear-down at the end. The Belz Museum will provide amenities as listed and will set up the caterer s space. The museum does NOT provide centerpieces or decorations. 4. The renter will be responsible for getting a caterer who is licensed in the state of TN. Arrangements need to be made to have a copy of the license to the museum no later than one week prior to the event. 5. The caterer will be responsible for food and drink clean-up and garbage disposal. If your caterer does not meet with museum staff, it will be the renter s responsibility to convey this information to them. The museum will supply garbage cans and liners. 6. There is an additional security fee of $60 for every ½ hour the space is not cleared after 10 pm. 7. Access to the museum will be through the elevator for all guests; the stairway will only be accessible for emergency evacuation. 8. There will be NO food or drink allowed in the galleries; Security and Museum Staff will enforce this. 9. There may be a plain-clothes security guard at your event to help Museum Staff.
