Meetings The versatile spaces at FACT offer small meetings, imagineering, training sessions or private screenings a perfect, vibrant and inspirational setting. Whether you re a group of creatives looking for a private space with good audio-visual support, or executives visiting the city requiring a base for meetings or interviews - then FACT can offer anything from small and intimate (6 people) to formal boardroom style (14). We can also make sure that you have regular refreshments to hand.

Medialab The Medialab is a state-of-the-art facility, with an impressive range of new media resources. Equipped with 12 of the latest 20 Intel imac workstations, running both Windows and Apple Mac OSX. The terminals are fully networked and come equipped with a range of software for video and multimedia production, including Final Cut Studio Pro HD and ilife Suite. The room also boasts a data projector, interactive whiteboard and is an attractive and relaxed space for group workshops (12 people max). The Medialab can also provide stills cameras and tripods and a range of video cameras in Mini DV format including a HDV camera. The Creative Design Studio is a high-specification audio and video production facility at FACT that is available for hire. Here you will find all the facilities you need to begin a new project or apply the finishing touches to your latest work. Food The Café at FACT is situated on the ground floor, serving a wide range of delicious light bites, speciality tea and coffee, mouth-watering cakes, soft drinks, wine and beer throughout the day. Location FACT is in the city centre, at 88 Wood Street, Liverpool, within walking distance of the main rail and bus stations. By train The nearest rail station is Liverpool Central (3 mins walk) Lime Street is a 12 min walk away. From Lime Street Station (with St.George s Hall directly in front of you) turn left and walk along Lime Street for 50 metres, until you reach the end of the station. Cross Lime Street at the lights by the Crown Hotel to Elliot Street bus station. Follow pedestrianised Elliot Street by taking the steps down from the bus station. Continue past Clayton Square shopping centre (on your left) and Tesco Metro (on your right) until you reach Church Street (a large shopping street). Turn left when you reach Church Street, continue to the end (about 50 metres) and cross Hanover Street to Bold Street via traffic lights. Follow Bold Street up the slight hill for 200 metres, at about 100 metres Bold Street ceases to be a pedestrian only zone, carry on until you see RopeWalks Square on your right, by the fruit stall. FACT is across RopeWalks Square on Wood Street. By Bus The nearest bus stops are Berry Street, Paradise Street and Hardman Street. By car - Directions from the M62 At the end of the motorway, follow the signs for the city centre and cathedrals (3 miles). Turn left at the Metropolitan Cathedral onto Hope Street. Turn right at the traffic lights into Hardman Street. At the church ruins of St. Luke turn left (at the traffic lights) onto Berry Street. The second right is Wood Street. Parking There is no parking at FACT, but there are car parks on Seel Street, Paradise Street (24hrs) and Hanover Street (24hrs)
