Organic Mulberry Tea ªÒÁÑÅàºÍÃÃÕ ÍÍÃá ¹Ô About Mulberry Mulberry trees are grown in Asia, Europe and the US. The white mulberry tree (Morus alba) originated in China where it has been used extensively in medicine as well as for silkworm feed. The date of domestication of mulberry is not known exactly but by the Western Zhou Dynasty (11 th century BC 221 BC) mulberry trees were already being cultivated on a large scale and pruning techniques had been developed so that easier harvested shrub types could be grown. Mulberry tree can reach over 20 meters in height but, in its cultivated form, is often coppiced, pollarded or pruned to a low growing bush to facilitate the harvesting of leaves. Our Farm The C.K. Farm is a 70-acre certified organic farm located in Kanchanaburi province. It takes approximately two and a half hour drive to travel to the farm from Bangkok Airport. The Farm grows variaty of herbs including mulberry, lemongrass, pandan, ginger, butterfly pea flower, Jasmine, rose, hibiscus, kaffir lime, Thai rice and ect. we rotate our plantation with a combination of cover crops and grains to insure maximum soil health and fertility. Our farm was found since 1998 and has been certified by Organic Agriculture Certification Thailand, accredited by IFOAM since 2004. Besides that the mulberry infusion is valued for its huge range of medicinal uses. The leaves are also commonly used in Thai cuisine as a vegetable and natural seasoning.
