If you have not yet set up your online account, Click on Fill in the required information on the screen shown below and click. If you already have an online account, log in with your last name and password. 1

Navigation of Menus The menu offers a wide variety of selections, perfect for groups of all sizes, for any meal period. To browse menu selections, simply click on the desired category to see a list of available items in that category. Menu categories are outlined in red below. The category includes a continental breakfast, as well as a la carte bakery items for you to customize your breakfast options. The category includes box salad and sandwich options, as well as a Build Your Own deli platter, and salad bar. The options include hot items that are served in foil pans, but do not require the addition of waitstaff to an event. 2

Check-Out *Please note, you will need a cost object in order to process your order. When you are finished adding items to your cart and you would like check out, click Choose a date for your delivery, keeping in mind that orders for deliveries within 24 business hours must be called in to the Catering Office at 617-353-2957. They cannot be placed online. If the date you have chosen is available, the top of the calendar will be highlighted in green. If your order cannot be placed online (less than 24 hours notice), the calendar will be highlighted in pink. See below for examples. Fill in the fields outlined in red below, making sure that the Street Address Field is a numerical value, not a building name. (Ex: 8 St. Mary s Street vs Photonics Center) Select an Event Start Time, and an Event end Time from the drop-down menu. This should be the time that you would like our delivery person to be completed with set up, not the start time of your event. *Please note that we cannot guarantee a to-the-minute delivery time. We will need a 15 minute window for arrival time. Supply and Food times are reserved for kitchen use, so please do not fill those in. Fill in the field, making sure that your guest count listed matches the amount of people you have ordered food for. 7

If you have anything specific you would like us to know about your event, you may add it in the section at the bottom of the screen. Click Name your event at the bottom of the page. To Process your order, click at the bottom of the page. To Cancel your order, click at the bottom of the page. If you have decided to process your order, and have clicked A screen will appear for you to enter your ISR information. You cannot continue without this information. Select your service provider from the drop down box. Either Catering on the Charles or SMG Catering. 8

Enter your 10 digit cost object in the box provided From the Completion Indicator Box, select X if your ISR is only to be used for this specific event. If there will be several events billed to this ISR, select Blank If there additional people you would like to receive a copy of the invoice, you may type their email address in the CC box. Click to actually place your order. Up until this point, you may exit your browser and your order will not be placed. A screen will appear with your completed order. Your event number can be found at the top right of the invoice. 9

Please review your event details to ensure that everything is correct. You will get a confirmation email at the email address associated with your account. Catering on the Charles will automatically also get an email notification of your order. Modifying an Order At this time, clients do not have the capability to modify their own orders. If you wish to make a change to an existing order, please call the catering office at 617-353-2957, or email catering@bu.edu. 10
