The Reef on the Water Event Information for the Month of December Please review the following when booking your event with The Reef Restaurant Event Hours Lunch 11 am to 3 pm Dinner 6 pm to 12 am (A charge of $400.00 if evening functions would like to extend beyond midnight until 1:00 am.) (Day functions cannot extend time past 3:00 pm, unless written confirmation is received from the catering office.) Room Rental: Rental charges are contingent upon the food and beverage minimum of your room. Bar & Bartender Fees: A complete bar service is available with a required minimum of $500.00 in sales or a $100.00 bartender fee will be assessed. This will not apply if a hosted bar has been arranged. Food & Beverage: No food or beverage may be brought onto or taken off the premises except the wedding cake. All food catered for each event is prepared by our Executive Chef. Parking: Complimentary valet parking service is provided on Friday & Saturday evenings & Sunday days (gratuity not included). All other event times will be self parking unless restaurant management finds it necessary to provide valet parking due to high anticipated guest volume. Guarantees & Final Payment: Patron shall definitely specify the number of persons attending Patron s function at least ten (10) calendar days in advance of the event. This attendance number shall be considered a minimum guarantee, not subject to reduction, and Patron shall be charged, and Patron shall pay Restaurant, accordingly. If the guarantee is not given to the Restaurant ten (10) calendar days in advance, then the Restaurant shall accept the last estimated number as said guarantee. The Restaurant will prepare 5% over the guarantee. A deposit/payment is needed to secure your function. Deposits/payments are credited to Patron s final bill. All deposits/ payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. All deposits/payments must be in the form of Cash, Credit Card, Money Order, Cashier s Check, or Personal/Company Check. Notwithstanding the forgoing, no personal/company checks shall be accepted within thirty (30) days of the event. All events must be fully prepaid at least ten (10) calendar days in advance of the event. If Patron cancels the event ten (10) or fewer days prior to the event date, the Patron shall pay the entire amount of the event based upon the minimum guarantee. If there is a remaining balance at the end of the event, then payment is required at that time, unless prior credit has been established to the satisfaction of the Restaurant. Holiday Packages Served Entree Selection: We offer the choice BETWEEN TWO entrees, with a REQUIRED breakdown of each meal selection to be provided to the catering office on the due date for final count of attendees. Service Charge & Sales Tax: All prices are subject to a 20% Service Charge and current sales tax. Decorations: Place cards, party favors, centerpieces, etc, are the responsibility of the client. Advise Florist or your decorator to decorate no earlier than one hour prior to the event. Nothing can be nailed, taped or stapled to walls, Gazebo, etc, or a damage fee will apply. The Reef will not assume any responsibility for damage or loss of merchandise or articles left on the premises prior to or following the event. No bubble machines. Candles must be secured to the container and the flame two and half inches below the top.
