1. Completely remove the water tank, and the drip tray from the machine CLICK HERE to order Jura parts online Page 2 of 14
2. Turn the Jura logo on the back of the machine counterclockwise until it pops off. This could be little tricky. You may need to wiggle it slightly to get it out. Page 3 of 14
3. Remove the oval head screw using the oval head bit. Gently turn the oval head screw counterclockwise CLICK HERE to order Jura parts online Page 4 of 14
4. Once the oval head screw is removed, slight move up the round screw plate inside the machine. The side casing of the machine should loosen up. 5. Using the Torx screw driver, remove the two screws from the top rear of the machine. Page 5 of 14
6. Use the oval head screw driver to remove the oval head screw from the front of the machine. 7. Slightly pull out the oval head screw retaining piece. Please note that it should get loose as soon as you remove the oval head screw. Page 6 of 14
8. Pull down the retaining piece, as indicated in the picture above. 9. Use a flat head screw driver, carefully pull down the frame about 1/2" an inch. 10. Pull both tabs down ½ inch. 11. To remove the side casing, slide the casing backward and out until its completely removed. CLICK HERE to order Jura parts online Page 8 of 14
12. Slide out the casing backward from the boiler side. Caution: the boiler side tends to be warmer if the machine was recently used. Please exercise caution. 13. View of the brew group side after the casing is removed. Page 9 of 14
14. Remove the silicone coffee dispensing tube from the brew group 15. Remove the three torx screws using the Torx 12 screw driver. Rotate the screws counterclockwise gently. Page 10 of 14
16. Remove the brew group. Perform necessary maintenance such as sanitizing and cleaning the brew group drainage valve, replacing the o-rings, and lubricating the brew group piston. 18. Insert the new or refurbished brew group 19. Replace the three torx screws by turning them clockwise. Tighten them firmly. 20. Ensure all three torx screws are firmly screwed in. CLICK HERE to order Jura parts online Page 13 of 14
21. Re-connect the coffee dispensing silicone tube to the brew group outlet. 22. Ensure silicone tube is firmly re-connected. Re-install the side casings and close the machine. CLICK HERE to order Jura parts online Page 14 of 14
