Admission is $5 for parents and friends of the SAPPS Choir. Tickets will be available at the door. Afternoon tea will be provided. It will be an entertaining concert with exciting and enjoyable repertoire from both groups. Our Winter Concert - Sunday afternoon, 1 July @ Burnside City Uniting Church, 384 Portrush Rd Tusmore, 2.30 performance. End of Year Concert Sunday afternoon, 9 Dec @ Burnside City Uniting Church End of Year Celebration: Bowling Monday 10 December @ Cross Road Bowl FUND-RAISING Last term the SAPPS Choir parent committee met and decided to have a couple of fundraisers during the year. As you would appreciate, the cost of membership for our choir is exceptionally reasonable when compared with other children s choirs. The reason we are so inexpensive is because we are partly sponsored by the Festival of Music. However, we do need every member s family to be supportive of fundraising efforts throughout the year.

We plan to hold a GOODIE BASKET RAFFLE that will be drawn at our Winter Concert. To this end, the committee is asking that parents donate an item or two that can be put into baskets. Some suggestions are Bottles of wine Non-perishable food products Chocolates Beauty products Vouchers. It could be that some of you have connections to a business that might be happy to give a store voucher. Please tell business owners that their generosity would be acknowledged in our newsletter and at our concert. Many thanks to those who have already donated. It s not too late if you have forgotten about it. Please send along donations next Monday 25 June. The committee will be sorting out and wrapping baskets in the back room during the rehearsal. Tickets for this raffle, which will be sold and drawn at our Winter Concert, are $2 each or 6 for $10. We are also offering the opportunity to pre order delicious TRAYS OF PASTA MADE BY VELLA PASTA, ready to heat up and serve. Details of this are in a flier/order form attached. I can thoroughly recommend this pasta as we have used the company in the past. Your support of this fundraiser is sort and very much appreciated. Orders are due on the 2 July, the last rehearsal for this term, for collection at SAPPS rehearsal on Monday 23 June. Please see the flyer and order form at the back of this newsletter. PARENT COMMITTEE The next meeting will be on Monday 25 June 4.30pm in the back room of the rehearsal venue. We will be assembling goodie baskets. Kind Regards, Deb, Cathy, Gaby and Cheryl
