Our lodge hosted a nine-ball pool tournament on November 10th. One of our new members, Chris Ott, won this event. Congrats to him. And, on November 22, our lodge hosted the Thanksgiving Turkey meal, free to the public. We served and/or delivered over 400 meals to our loyal community. It was a true pleasure to be there that day and join dozens of volunteers gave up their day to support this awesome event. A special gold star to John Fortune who was the chairman for this event. He performed admirably. Also, a special gold star to Sheila O'Malley who supported this event with countless hours given to insure a successful outcome. And, finally the other gold star goes to our volunteers who served and delivered these warm delicious meals. We even observed the Mayor of Waldport, Susan Woodruff, serving hundreds of pies and cake to our hungry attendees. We would like to inform our members and community that we will be serving free Christmas dinners on December 25th from 12:00 PM until 3:30 PM. The lodge will provide turkeys, ham, and some fixins as well. those that attend should feel free to bring a pot luck contribution. Finally, we repaired the huge leak on our roof. Thanks to those who joined me, including Larry (Logger) Smallwood, Tim Plaisted, and Willie Parrett. Come join us Christmas Day for your free filet mignon meal and donate some time helping others Fraternally, Jim Sehl, Administrator Howdy! FROM THE GOVERNOR There isn t a lot going on this month. The Turkey Day was a big day for the community and the Lodge. I d like to give John Fortune and his crew, a Big Thank You for the work and time you ve put in. Christmas Dinner is coming up this month for the Community and the Lodge. Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas Day & Happy New Year!
