On Spooky Bingo Night Help us Help Others in Need: Make A Difference Day Loudoun County In October the Cardinals Care Club and Seldens Landing will be collecting nonperishable food items to be donated to the Loudoun County Shelter to stock their pantries for the upcoming months. Last year alone, Make a Difference Day produced non-perishable food items for nearly 2,100 people, which was enough for about 18,000 meals. Bring your items to Spooky BINGO on Friday, October 19th. Join in the fun of filling our bins while helping others at the same time! Art & Poetry Contest Thank You, Veterans A Salute to Our Military Sunday, November 11 th the country will recognize Veterans Day. We would like Seldens Landing students to gain an appreciation for the contributions America s veterans have made. As an optional activity we are inviting all students to participate in a THANK YOU VETERANS Art and Poetry Contest. The selected winner from each grade level will read his or her poem during the Friday, November 9 th assembly honoring the brave men and women who have served and are serving to preserve our nation s freedom. Additionally, each grade level winner s work will be published with a bound copy and presented to each of our visiting veterans. Seldens Landing Cardinals Care Club -Extending hope, love, and compassion to those in need in Loudoun County Join us for our October Community Service Project: Make A Difference Loudoun County In October we will be collecting non-perishable food items to be donated to the Loudoun County Shelter to stock their pantries for the upcoming months.
