General Information The Community Fire Company New Ringgold is a 100% volunteer fire company located in southern Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. We provide rapid response to emergency calls to New Ringgold, East Brunswick Township, and surrounding communities. Community offerings include facility rentals, fire protection and prevention training, and annual community events. We also have a social quarters that provides dining opportunities for the local community as well as a social gathering place for our members. Our History The Community Fire Company New Ringgold was chartered in 1926 after two disastrous fires in the borough. New Ringgold was 50 years old at the time and the town fathers felt the need for fire protection. The name was designated because of the fact the volunteers came from the towns of New Ringgold, Hecla, McKeansburg and surrounding areas. We continue to operate under the same name today to provide New Ringgold, East Brunswick Township, and surrounding communities the high level of emergency services they deserve.
