Our Policies & Procedures Deposits and Cancellations All dates are treated on a first come, first service basis. A $1,000.00 deposit is required to confirm your date. Should it be necessary for you to cancel, you must do so in writing. Your deposit will be refunded only if the date is rebooked with a wedding reception of the same size or larger. Menu Selection and Pricing Please submit your menu at least two weeks in advance of your reception. The menu prices are firm for the period indicated on menu. Beyond that time, prices are subject to change. For Friday or Sunday Receptions, we offer a discount of 5% off the entrée portion of the package. For all Weddings in January, February and March, we offer a 10% discount off the the entrée portion of the package. Packages subject to a facility charge of 18% plus sales tax. Cake We would be happy to cut and serve the cake at no additional charge. Guarantees Guaranteed counts must be received at least two days prior to your reception. This number will be considered your final count and you will be charged for that number or any higher number actually served, whichever is greater. Minimums Saturday receptions, April through December, must guarantee a minimum of 150 adult guests, based on current per person Entree package pricing. The Saturday guarantee minimum is reduced to 100 adult guests January through March. Friday and Sunday receptions must guarantee a minimum of 100 adult guests, based on current per person Entree package pricing. Final Planning A final planning meeting should be scheduled seven to ten days prior to your reception. At this meeting your floor plan will be developed and your reception details confirmed. Payment A Certified or Cashier s Check for your guaranteed count is due two days prior to your reception. Any balance or additional charges are due, in full, the night of your reception. Please note: Cog Hill does not accept credit cards for payment of reception charges.
