At Taren Point Bowling Club, we offer a variety of options to ensure your special event is a success. Our Friendly Events Management Team are here to help you through the various stages of planning your event Step 1 Choice of your room The Point Meeting Room $150.00 Five Hour Room Hire Our prestige meeting room caters for 45 seated in theatre style and 25 seated. The Point Meeting Room is completely private, fully air conditioned and is ideal for your next work seminar. The Barbecue Terrace $250.00 Five Hour Room Hire The Barbecue Terrace is located at the rear of the club, overlooking our beautifully manicured bowling greens and garden. This area is fully furnished with traditional outdoor furniture with a canopy overhead, making it comfortable all year round. The Barbecue Terrace caters for 48 seated and 75 guests cocktail style. The Greens Auditorium $350.00 Five Hour Room Hire The Greens Auditorium is conveniently located within the club, portraying beautiful views of our outdoor gardens. It is a north facing room, with glass walls giving you great natural light. Our Greens Auditorium caters for 140 seated, and 200 cocktail style. Step 2 Choice of Menu We understand that there may be dietary requirements for your guests at your event. Please do not hesitate to discuss this with our Events Team. Beverage Speak to our friendly Functions Team about arranging a bar tab for your event. You advise us of the amount you re looking to spend and we will customise the tab depending on what beverage you would like to be made available to your guests. A credit card must be left behind the bar. Alternatively, you can arrange for your Event to have a Cash Bar.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS Tentative Bookings A tentative booking will be held for a maximum of seven (7) days. If the function is not confirmed, the space will then be released without notice. Confirmation of Booking To confirm your booking, The Point will require a deposit fee of a minimum of $100.00 to be placed down, along with a signed copy of the Terms and Conditions. Cancellations In the event of a cancellation within thirty (30) days prior to your function, an administration fee of $25.00 will be charged. In the event of a cancellation within seven (7) days of the function, the client will forfeit the total sum of the deposit. Catering No catering is allowed to be brought in, with the exception of celebratory cakes and lolly buffets, with the prior consent of Management. Final Details All function details must be confirmed seven (7) days prior to the commencement of your function. The bar may be set up on the day, if you wish to go with a bar tab. To ensure your function runs smoothly, please notify us immediately of any changes, to times, numbers and meals. Full payment of function is to be paid seven (7) days prior to your function commencing. Hire times commence from the time booked to arrive, with your hired area available to you for up to five (5) hours. If the function goes longer than this, an extra surcharge of $4.00 per person per hour will be charged. Minors All minors must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian whilst on club premises and are not permitted to be left alone. Minors are NOT permitted to enter restricted areas of the Club such as gaming, TAB bar areas, on the Greens or any other areas identified as restricted. Responsible Service of Alcohol Under the Liquor Act, all persons drinking must remain with their drinks within the Club. No guest under the age of 18 will be served alcohol or served at a bar. Any guest who looks under the age of 25 years may be asked for ID and must ensure that they have sufficient ID in order to be served alcohol. Insurance and Security Club policy states that a security guard is required at 21 st birthday celebrations and Bucks Parties for the duration of the function. Security guards will be hired through the Club and you are responsible for the payment of the security guard. Security personnel are licenced by a government approved body.

FUNCTIONS AGREEMENT I, of hereby agree to the Terms and Conditions of Taren Point Bowling Club. I agree to pay for any damages to furniture, fixtures and fittings or excess breakages that are made by myself or any of my guests during or after my function. I understand that all catering is to be supplied within the venue, with the exception of Celebratory Cakes and Lolly Buffets, with consent from the Functions Manager. I understand that myself or my guests may be refused service if any staff or supervisor feels that a guest is intoxicated or showing threatening or aggressive behaviour within R.S.A regulations.
