Group Function Contract Terms and Conditions of Group Bookings 1. All bookings must be confirmed, numbers guaranteed and deposits paid no later than one week prior to the start of the function. The Curragh cannot guarantee seating for extra people after the guarantee number has been confirmed. 2. For dinner party events with 20 or more guests: Final guest count for an event must be received one week prior to the event. This count becomes your minimum guaranteed number and is not subject to reduction. This count will also be the minimum amount you will be charged for price per head. Additional price per head fees will apply if your guest count increases. 3. Deposits are only refundable if a function is cancelled at least 30 days prior to its scheduled date. 4. Full payment must be made on the day of the function. Credit card and cash payments are welcome. Company checks may be accepted subject to prior agreement of the Curragh management. We cannot accept personal checks. 5. Please contact a manager at (616) 393-6340 if you will be more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled event time. The Curragh reserves the right to cancel your reservation without refunding your deposit if you and your party are more than 30 minutes late without notifying a manager. 6. All charges will be subject to municipal and state sales taxes plus an 18% service charge. 7. No food or beverages will be brought onto the premises unless by prior consent with the Curragh management. The Curragh will not be responsible for any food brought onto the premises by the client, including cakes. 8. Parties reserving private spaces on certain nights may be subject to a minimum-billing amount, which will have been agreed upon at the time the booking was made. If your final billing amount is less than the minimum billing amount, the balance will be added to your bill as a room rental fee. 9. The Curragh is not liable for items stolen or lost on our premises. 10. Displays, signs and decorations may only be used with prior consent of the Curragh management. 11. The client agrees to take responsibility for damage to the restaurant and its equipment occurring during the client s function. 12. Tax-exempt organizations must present certification in advance.
