Last minute Halloween treats Looking for some easy last minute treats for Halloween?? I m sharing 2 today that are sure to please your guests or your family. Brownie ghosts Brownie ghosts are easy, cute and kids will love them!! 1. Bake brownies either using your favorite recipe or brownie mix. 2. Allow brownies to cool completely. 3. Once brownies are cooled cut into squares. 4. Melt candy wafers over a double broiler or in the microwave. You may need to add a little milk to thin it out. 5. Using a small amount of melted candy wafers stick the marshmallows to the brownies 6. Pour melted candy wafers over marshmallows. 7. Melt a small amount of black candy wafers. 8. Using a piping or ziplock bag with the tip cut off very small add the eyes and mouth using the black. Super cute Halloween treat that is not had and doesn t take much time!!

Ice cream cone Halloween cupcakes These are fun for kids! You can even get them involved by letting them help frost and decorate them. 1. Place cake cones in a mini cupcake pan. 2. Use your favorite cake recipe. Fill cake cones 2/3 full and bake at 350 until a toothpick comes out clean. approximately 20 minutes. 3. Chicken Squash Alfredo Spaghetti I love cooking with squash this time of year, acorn squash, spaghetti squash, butternut squash etc. Spaghetti squash is great so many ways, but this one is delicious!!!!! alfredo sauce, roasted spaghetti squash with chicken an amazing way to use spaghetti squash. Ingredients 1 spaghetti squash 1 small chicken breast (cooked) 1-2 teaspoons olive oil For the alfredo sauce 2oz cream cheese 1 cup half and half 1/4 cup butter 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese 1/2 teaspoon dried basil 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme 1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 clove of garlic (minced) salt (to taste) pepper (to taste) 1. Cut spaghetti squash in half and drizzle with olive oil. 2. Bake at 400 for about 40 minutes or until tender 3. In a sauce pan over medium heat combine cream cheese, half and half, and butter. 4. Add garlic, spices and parmesan cheese and simmer for 3-5 minutes or until it begins to thicken. 5. Scoop squash into a bowl, add sauce and stir. 6. Place squash back into skin. 7. Top with chicken cut into chunks and parmesan. 8. Broil for 3 minutes or until golden brown. These fries are easy, better than store bought and healthier!

Ingredients Approximately 6 potatoes 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional) 1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder 1 teaspoon dried basil salt (to taste) pepper (to taste) 2 teaspoons olive oil Once you have washed potatoes cut them into wedges being sure to cut them all about the same size to ensure even cooking. Place cut potatoes on sheet pan and drizzle with olive oil to evenly coat all potatoes. Sprinkle with remaining seasonings and toss. Bake at 450 for 40-45 minutes, stir fries every 15-20 minutes. Homemade Hot Chocolate It s finally starting to feel like fall here, which means it s time for pumpkin flavored foods, apple cider, and of course hot chocolate. What s better than hot chocolate?? Homemade hot chocolate!! So today I m sharing with you this easy but super yummy hot chocolate you can make in no time at all and with only 3 ingredients.

Ingredients 2 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder 2/3 cup sugar 3 1/2 cups milk

In a sauce pan mix cocoa powder and sugar together, add a 1/2 cup of the milk and stir. Over medium high heat bring to a boil, let boil for 1-2 minutes and then add remaining milk. Let simmer until the hot chocolate is hot enough for your taste. That s all there is to it. It s really that simple!! This is great with whipped cream on top, marshmallows, or my favorite marshmallow fluff. I hope you enjoy this hot chocolate recipe that s sure to keep you warm inside all fall and winter long. Pumpkin Turkey Chili I absolutely LOVE pumpkin!!! I most always use it in desserts but today I m switching it up by using pumpkin in this yummy pumpkin turkey chili perfect for this time of year! This chili has just the right balance of richness from the pumpkin and a great chili flavor. It also has great health benefits because of the pumpkin.

Ingredients 1/2 pound ground turkey 1 cup cooked red beans 1/2 cup low sodium chicken broth 7oz pumpkin puree 1 14 ounce can fire roasted tomatoes 1/8 cup tomato paste 1 1/2 teaspoons cocoa powder 1 tablespoon chili powder 1 1/4 teaspoons 3/4 ground cumin teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional) pepper to taste salt to taste 2 cups spinach

Toppings sour cream or greek yogurt (optional) cheddar cheese (optional) To start add olive oil and ground turkey to a pot over mediumhigh heat. Cook about 6-8 minutes or until fully cooked, being sure to break up the meat as its cooking. Once cooked add tomatoes, beans, chicken broth, pumpkin puree, cumin, salt, pepper, cinnamon, chili powder, cocoa powder, and cayenne pepper and stir. Reduce heat cover and let simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Right before you are ready to serve add the spinach and stir. Enjoy with whatever toppings you like. Herb Roasted Chicken This herb roasted chicken is such a simple yet delicious dish. Ingredients 1 small fryer 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon dried basil 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

Salt (to taste) Pepper (to taste) Season chicken evenly with herbs, salt and pepper. Bake at 375 for 2 hours That s all there is to it!! Super easy but still tastes great. Roasted chicken is great with many side dishes, but we had it with roasted brussel sprouts. For the brussel sprouts 1 pound brussel sprouts (frozen) 2 tablespoons olive oil Salt (to taste) Pepper (to taste)

Place brussel sprouts on a sheet pan, drizzle with olive and season with salt and pepper. Bake at 375 for 40 minutes or until they become caramelized. Hope you enjoy this simple yet delicious dish!!
