China PAST WEATHER: Showers favored North China Plain, and central and eastern Yangtze Valley last week. FORECAST: Rains should favor North China Plain and Yangtze Valley this week. CROP IMPACT: Rains across central and southeastern North China Plain and Yangtze Valley have stalled soybean harvesting and increased wetness, and wetness concerns will persist this week. Meanwhile, limited rains in Northeast China will favor harvesting.

CropCast Weekly Oilseeds Report Don Keeney Thursday, Southeast Asia PAST WEATHER: Rains were noted across much of the region this week. FORECAST: Rains should be widespread across the region this week. CROP IMPACT: Abundant rains across the region have improved moisture a bit, although more are still needed in central Sumatra, southwestern Malay Peninsula, northwestern Kalimantan, and central and southwestern East Malaysia.
