Inspired by the Golden Age of transatlantic travel and designed under the creative helms of visionary Tom Dixon, Sea Containers Restaurant brings the best of American and British cuisine to the Southbank. Overlooking the River Thames, Sea Containers is London s go-to for laidback modern dining with a view.
In true Mondrian fashion, design is front and center at Sea Containers. The journey begins in the hotel itself, with the building s copper-clad hull guiding guests through to the restaurant. Complete with a mighty wood-fired oven, the open-plan kitchen gives diners a sneak peek into the seasonal farm-to-table creations expertly dished up by the chefs. An ode to the classic American diner, the iconic 18-seat signature stainless steel bar takes pride of place at the restaurant s heart. Look out for the bar s Yellow Submarine, a clever nod to the British rock legends of old, in keeping with the hotel s maritime vibes.
