FUNCTION INFORMATION For that occasion to celebrate a Birthday, Anniversary, Wedding or Special Family celebration, why not come and see our William Barnes Room? Our modern function room provides mood lighting, air conditioning, free wifi and many power points to make your event enjoyable. Shall you need them, we also have chair covers and bows available at just 3 per chair in a range of colours and special room rates are also available for guests. The room is free of charge, providing there is a minimum of 25 guests eating food from our menu choices. Use of the bar is included in the price of room hire however if you would like to discuss a drinks package please let us know. If you wish to have a Disco for your evening entertainment, we can arrange our resident DJ from 7.30-11.30pm at a reduced rate available through the hotel. Alternatively, if you prefer a quiet moment away from the music you can relax in our new Lounge Bar, which closes at 12am. We can cater for your function with a hot or cold buffet, formal lunch or dinner. Prices start at just 9.95 per person. You are most welcome to come and look around. The Wessex Royale offers two spacious air conditioned conference rooms: The William Barnes Room seats up to 80 Theatre Style, 30 Cabaret Style or 40 Boardroom Style. Stay with us... Terms and conditions Booking Your Function We will hold a provisional booking for 14 days. To confirm your reservation, we require your written confirmation with a deposit of 150. We will acknowledge receipt of your deposit and suggest a date to discuss your choice of menus and drinks package. Cancellation In the event you will need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. Your deposit in non-refundable and if you cancel with 7 days or less notice then you will be charged the cost of the room hire. Take the hassle out of travelling or finding accommodation and stay with us for your celebrations. We can offer great rates for group bookings with family rooms also available.
