1. Melons were dipped in 10% chlorine bleach bath and placed in 3 C walk-in cooler 24 hours prior fruit flesh sampling and cubing 2. Following day the melons were cut in halves widthwise a 3cm slice was taken from each half, 1 for Cubing the 2nd sampled for sugar content, ph, and firmness. 3. Gauges Used: Atago PAL-1 Refactometer, Spectrum SoilStik ph Module, Wagner Force Dial FDK10
