El Gobierno dei Canadá tiene la intención de aplicar la oferta respecto de los productos tropicales, resultante de las negociaciones para el balance a mitad de período de la Ronda Uruguay, el 1 de julio de 1989. En el documento adjunto figuran los detalles de la oferta que se va a aplicar, incluida la información sobre las partidas arancelarias para las cuales se habla indicado que el Canadá "consideraría la posibilidad de otorgar la entrada con franquicia arancelaria para los productos tropicales cuya exportación interesara a los países en desarrollo".
