Congratulations Let us at The Star Inn congratulate you both on your engagement. We would like to thank you for considering us in your wedding plans, if you choose us to look after you on this special day, you will be assured of a wonderful day from start to finish. We know just how important your Wedding Day is and will do everything possible to make sure that your reception runs smoothly. The Star Inn has been a family run business for many years during which time we have hosted many special celebrations. We are happy to discuss your requirements regarding settings, food, drink and entertainment to ensure that everything is perfect. Please remember all food is proudly prepared by our chefs, enabling us to offer you the option of your own personalised menu. Various sized weddings can be held at The Star Inn in our dressed marquee, set in our beautiful garden. The charge for the marquee is 395.00. However, should you be catering for 50 guests at your wedding breakfast and a minimum of 80 guests at your evening reception, then this charge will be waivered. The Star Inn DJ can be arranged for you on your behalf or you can arrange your own. Our disco price for 2017/18 to be confirmed. Our bar will stop serving at 11.30pm and the entertainment will conclude at 12.00am.

Terms and Conditions Payment Procedure: Once your definite decision has been made and you would like to hold your function at The Star Inn, we will require: Signed terms and conditions and a non-refundable deposit of 500.00 50% of the estimated final bill is required 10 weeks before the function. Final payment is required two weeks prior. Insurance: The Star Inn strongly recommends that wedding insurance is taken out. Wedding presents, wedding cake, wedding cards and wedding decorations/stationary/plans etc are on the premises entirely at the customer s risk, and any loss or damage however caused, is not covered or accepted by The Star Inn. Liability The client shall be liable for any loss or damage to the property or injury to persons including the staff and shall indemnify The Star Inn and I & M events against any other loss or liability arising from the function. Terms and conditions Any booking is subject to the following conditions; Clients use of The Star Inn: The customers and persons attending the function shall: Not consume any of their own alcohol or food on the premises (if any is found this will be confiscated and disposed of immediately). Not act improper or in a disorderly manner and comply with any reasonable request made by The Star Inn employees. Not bring any dangerous or hazardous items into The Star Inn. Any person, including wedding guests, in breach of any of these conditions may be refused admission to The Star Inn or removed from the premises completely. Cancellation by The Star Inn: The Star Inn reserves the right to cancel a booking for any of the following reasons: Non payment of overdue final settlements. Breach of the use of The Star Inn (see conditions). Any action which would damage or prejudice The Star Inn or its employees. If the contract is not completed and signed within 14 days from paying the 500 deposit or the secondary deposit is not paid 10 weeks prior to the function. Cancellation Policy Cancellation of your booking will only be accepted if you confirm this in writing. The original deposit of 500 is non-refundable The secondary deposit 10 weeks prior to your function after booking is nonrefundable. In the event of cancellation for whatever reason or time period prior to the date of the wedding, no refunds shall be given. For cancellations within 6 weeks prior to the wedding a further charge making up 100% of the total revenue from the projected food and drink reserved.
