One of the most easily accessible residential meeting venue, the Crooklands Hotel combines the quality, standards and professionalism of a 3*** Hotel with all the modern facilities of a conference centre. Situated 1.5 miles off J36 of the M6 Motorway, only 4 miles from the historic market town of Kendal having the advantage of being on the doorstep of South Lakeland and the Yorkshire Dales, it is easy to see why the Crooklands Hotel is one of the best meeting and conference centres of its kind for commercial companies, charities, national public sector and various clubs and societies. All our rooms are spacious, comfortable and have complimentary use of the Hotel s Wi-Fi network. We can offer meeting rooms of varying size suitable for 2 to 100 people depending on your requirements. The suites are ideal for seminars, AGM s, presentations, private dinners, interview rooms and meetings. As a family run Hotel, we are also passionate about food, and offer a wide range of dining options from a restaurant dining experience to home-made, fresh shortbread biscuits with tea and coffee. Our team of chefs use only the best, locally sourced produce to create delicious menus. Our ideal location, on the border of 3 counties, Lancashire, Cumbria (South Lakes) and North Yorkshire makes it perfect spot to holiday as well. Some of the well known tourist spots nearby include Lake Windermere, Yorkshire Dales, Kirby Lonsdale Golf Club, K-Village factory outlet, Kendal town. The Conference Suites: Cumbrian Suite: The smallest suite on offer, the Cumbrian Suite provides a warm, professional and private space ideal for small board meetings, interviews and presentations. The solid stone walls, double glazed windows ensure there is no noise intrusion during your event and if the weather is good, there is also access to the outside where the attendees can go have a break or their lunch al fresco. Westmorland Suite: Taking its name from old county name of Westmorland, the Westmorland Suite has been recently re-decorated and incorporates high-spec conferencing facilities and provides a light, airy and calming atmosphere. The new double-glazed windows and original 17 th Century walls ensure there is no outside noise to disrupt the event. The Westmorland Suite can also be interconnected with the Hayloft Suite which can be used for holding lunches/coffee breaks. Due to its size and interconnectivity, the Westmorland Suite is ideal for large presentations, meetings, conferences, Society/Group meetings, demonstrations, AGMs and private dinners. Hayloft Suite: Full of old-world character and charm, with original beams, local artefacts, the Hayloft Suite offers all the modern-day conference facilities but in very traditional and cosy surroundings, instead of the blank neutral walls found elsewhere. The Hayloft Suite is ideal for holding dinners/lunches/buffets, interviews, group presentations, demonstrations, private parties and functions. The Westmorland and Hayloft Suite can be interconnected if you have two or more aspects to your function and are on the upper floor and can be accessed by the stairs as well as a lift.

Rates: The suites can be hired for either full days ( 120.00) or for half days ( 60.00). Special rates are also available and promotions do change, so please call 015395 67432 for package and offer details. Equipment and services: Equipment available include flip charts, LCD projectors, OHP, screen, TV and DVD player Services available include photocopying, fax receiving and sending and use of a telephone Additional equipment/services may incur additional charges. Delegate Rates (prices from 33.95pp; minimum of 10 people required): Full day delegate rate includes morning tea, Farrers coffee and Danish pastries on arrival, midmorning tea, Farrers coffee with homemade shortbread biscuits, choice of buffet or roast lunch, afternoon tea, Farrers coffee with homemade shortbread biscuits, use of flip chart, pens, screen, OHP and LCD projector. Overnight delegate rate includes all of the above as well as accommodation with an evening meal from the a la carte menu and a hearty breakfast. Room hire is also included in the package prices for both, full day and overnight delegates.

Catering and Refreshments: Refreshments can be provided all day and custom packages can be created to suit your needs. Please call to arrange catering options and pricing. Snacks (prices start from 2.85 pp): Westmorland Tea, Farrers Freshly Ground coffee, home-made shortbread biscuits, Danish pastries and a mixture of chocolate chip and blueberry muffins are on offer. Breakfast & Brunch (prices start from 4.55 pp): Westmorland Tea, Farrers Freshly Ground coffee, local bacon baps, Cumberland sausage baps, mixed toast with a selection of jams and marmalade. Light Lunch (prices start from 6.00 pp): Choices include Westmorland tea, Farrers freshly ground coffee, home-made soup, chips and a selection of fresh sandwiches*. Buffet (prices start from 11.25 pp): Finger Buffet includes, fresh sandwiches*, savoury quiche, crolines, battered chicken goujons, mini spring rolls, spicy samosas, Cajun spiced fries, sauces and dips Cold meat buffet includes platter of cold meats, selection of salads, savoury quiche, crolines, freshly prepared desserts, tea and coffee. Roast Lunch (prices start from 13.55 pp): Chef s Roast of the Day, Dessert, Westmorland tea and Farrers coffee Choose from a delicious, hand carved, slow cooked roast turkey or topside of roast beef. Alternatively, there is a wild mushroom stroganoff served with rice as a vegetarian option. You can also choose from the handmade desserts on offer. *Fresh sandwiches include hand carved turkey & cranberry sauce, topside of roast beef, honey roasted ham, tuna & mayonnaise, salmon & dill and cheese savoury served on both, white and brown bread.
