Welcome to Rio City Cafe
We welcome you and your guests to Rio City Café! It is with the greatest honor you are considering us for your upcoming event. We offer lots of seating possibilities and can create private and semi-private settings for you. We have an Executive Chef, Pastry Chef and a team of wonderful people. Everything is made from scratch, in-house daily. We are a true farm-to-fork experience! For 30 or more people: you qualify as a banquet. In this booklet, you can see pictures, our menus and pricing and what this includes. We dress your tables with white linens and have a variety of flowers to choose from for your table. At night, we add votive candle holders. We have a contract for all banquets that can be emailed or downloaded from our website. This contract back to our Events Coordinator guarantees your date/time and says you are paying for at least 30 people. Depending on your time of the event, we typically have no room fee and there is no deposit needed (this does not apply to peak times however where we could charge a minimum). In the contract, it talks about parking and the many ways you and your guests can park with us. There is a 3 hour minimum unless approved by your Event Coordinator. If you choose us, then we work together creating the perfect event! What the kitchen prefers is getting everyone s order in advance and letting us know one week prior to your event what those counts are. If this is possible, you choose from any of the plated entrees shown. We then take your list of what your guests select and create entrée cards with everyone s name on them. When they arrive, they simply find their name and take that card to their place. Our food runners know who is getting what. It s very streamlined and efficient and there s no fussing with menus and taking orders. If getting everyone s order is not possible, then you choose 3-4 entrees (kitchen prefers 3), and we create a customized menu that is at each place setting. If you want to customize a menu and shorten the amount of entrees, we do allow this. You can create your own menu. Simply go to our website at www.riocitycafe.com and copy and paste from the menu, creating your own. Please let your host know when you book the reservation that you are bringing in your own menu. There is a 2-3 hour minimum for your party and the host can let you know. Our Private Room Our private dining room can hold up to 70 seated guests, or up to 100+ for an appetizer/ reception style event with limited seating and plenty of mingling space.

Our enclosed patio can hold up to 130 for a sit down plated event or up to 250 for a mingling/reception-style appetizer party. This area is perfect for anytime of the year. During our winter season, it s fully enclosed with heat lamps and river views.
Scenic Riverside Dining Our semi-private room along the river with a room divider. **Please note, this divider has been updated since this photo. It is now one piece, and rolls down into place. With natural colored fabric on both sides, it does a nice job of buffering noise and creates your own semi-private area along the river.

We offer buffets for brunch, lunch or dinner typically for your party of 80 people or more. We can make exceptions however to the number of people if you are wanting this. Please note, we charge more than the plated entrée per person price due to the extra food consumed. It s typically $10 per person more.
