Planning a Special Event? We are here to serve you! Taher offers a full range of catering expertise. Let us help you plan your special gathering! Our guidelines and policies help to assist you in booking a catered event with. If your event requires complex or customized requests, contact the Office and discuss the food service requirements for your event. Our staff will help you with your menu selection from our culinary offerings or, if necessary, customize a menu for your event. Our Culinary Team uses only the finest quality and freshest of ingredients to produce our recipes. Choose from a variety of favorites from our pre-established menu list to offer your guests a unique dining experience. Customized menus are available upon request. If there is a program before or after the meal, please notify the Culinary Director. There may be additional labor charges for service requirements that extend beyond the designated service window for your event. Catering activities requested outside normal school schedule such as holiday breaks or extended breaks and during the summer will incur a labor charge of $25.00 per hour per hourly staff member as required at a minimum of 4 hours. A waiver of the labor charge may be granted under special circumstances at the discretion of the Culinary Director. Catering arrangements should be made by completing the Event Planning Form. In arranging catered events, guaranteed attendance must be specified FOUR business days in advance of the event. This will allow ample time to finalize the ordering and planning process. You will be responsible for the guaranteed amount or actual number in attendance, whichever is greater. will generate a catering invoice for each event. All cancellations must be submitted to the catering office by calling or emailing no later than 5 business days prior to the function to avoid a cancellation fee. Events or items cancelled less than 5 business days before the scheduled functions could be subjected to a 50% cancellation fee depending on the items and services requested. Events cancelled with less than 24 hours of the scheduled function may be charged 100% of the estimated food and beverage charge unless waived by the Culinary Director. Page 1
