PRESIDENT S REPORT November and December were very busy with events, private functions and dine-ins. I hope that over the Holidays everyone had some down time to relax. As I repeat continually, our Branch could not function without our wonderful group of volunteers. During a recent event, a member of our Branch was heard to verbally abuse our volunteers. Let me be clear; abuse of any kind towards our Members and/or Volunteers will never be accepted. If you have an issue with anything at the branch, please feel free to reach out to me directly. I am frequently at the Branch and available by telephone or email. I was very fortunate to help the Colour Party prepare and serve Christmas Dinner for the Ladies Auxiliary. We can't thank them enough for their generous donations of money, time and items for the kitchen. I hope you had the opportunity to attend both the Branch New Year's Eve party and the Annual Levee on January 1st. What a great way to kick off 2018!! I look forward to the new year and the last 6 months of the Legion fiscal year. Yours in Comradeship,

LADIES AUXILIARY REPORT It is now 2018 and as we enter this new year, I would like to share a quote from Neil Gaiman, I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You're doing things you've never done before, and more importantly, you're doing something. I would like extend a huge thank you, once again, to the Legion for serving us an amazing dinner at our annual LA Christmas party. The Ladies' Auxiliary General Meeting has been moved to Jan 8th due to the holiday. Have a Very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year Yours in Comradeship, LA President Denise Robertson LA President
