TERMS & CONDITIONS Confirmation - To confirm your booking we ask you to pay a non-refundable and non-transferable 25% deposit. Cancellations - In the event of cancellation the following will apply: Cancellation of more than 6 months prior to the date will be loss of deposit only. Cancellation within 3-6 months prior to the date will incur a charge of 50% of budget costs based on advised numbers at the time of booking. Cancellation within 1-3 months less 1 day prior to the date will incur a charge of 75% of budget costs based on advised numbers at time of booking. Cancellation within 1 month prior to the date will incur a charge of 100% of budget costs based on advised number at time of booking. Final numbers - Please advise us of final numbers 4 weeks in advance. This will be the minimum number you will be charged for. Payment method - Payment can be made by either, a cheque, bank transfer or cash. No credit or charge cards will be accepted. Cheques must have cleared by this date. Woodland Protection Order as mentioned the entire woodland is under a tree protection order (TPO) and as such must be treated with the utmost care. Any damage caused on purpose or otherwise is punishable by a 20,000 fine. Consideration for the neighbours on arrival, during and leaving your event is paramount. Music levels must be lowered right down by 11.30pm with last orders at 12.00am. Safety for your guests is equally important and we have done all we can. However, please be aware that you are choosing an uneven, natural environment for your wedding day. The ground may be uneven, there may be branches, nettles or other in the guest areas. Please make your guests aware of this and that individuals are responsible for their own safety, Applewood Weddings accepts no responsibility for the health and safety of your guests. As a couple you may provide alcohol for your daytime reception at a supplement of 8pp (all guests will be charged for) and this must be finished by 6pm. Only pre-authorised alcohol will be allowed on site, any guests found to be bringing their own will be asked to leave. Please make this clear to your guests. We require a safety deposit of 500 to be paid with your final balance, this is a standard amount to protect ourselves and the woodland. This will be refundable when the site has been cleared and inspected. We do allow the couple to bring pet(s) but this must be pre-authorised before your wedding day. Any mess needs to be cleaned immediately and disposed of responsibly. Access to the site is available from Tuesday and can be arranged with Nicola.
