TRIPS SCHEDULED IN APRIL Tuesday April 19, 2016 Magic Wings / Holyoke Mall Time: 8:30am to 3:30pm Cost: $66.00 not accessible A day out starting at Magic Wings in Deerfield, Massachusetts with butterflies around and lizards, small birds and a couple of tortoises. Lunch will be in their cafeteria. Travel to Holyoke Mall for a purchase or two and then we will be back at Migeon Avenue Bring money for a purchase or two at either the Magic Wings Giftshop or Holyoke Mall. Saturday April 23, 2016 Trolley Museum / Burger King Time: 10:30am to 3:30pm Cost: $48.00 not accessible A Saturday to travel the rails at the New England Trolley Museum in Windsor, Connecticut We will be able to ride on at least two trolleys. Lunch will be at Burger King which is right down the road. Bring money for a purchase in their gift shop. Tuesday April 26, 2016 Beardsley Zoo Time: 9:00am to 3:30pm Cost: $45.00 not accessible Take a day off from work to travel to the Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Traveling around the grounds, seeing all of the animals from Wolves, Buffalo, Alligators, Bald Eagles and many more. Maybe some baby animals. Bring a sandwich or salad and I will purchase fries / drinks for all. Bring money for a purchase in the gift shop. Saturday April 30, 2016 Meriden Daffodil Festival Time: 9:30am to 3:00pm Cost: $35.00 not accessible A Saturday to walk around Hubbard Park in Meriden with all daffodils blooming. There are over 40 craft vendors to make a purchase with. Lunch will be in the food tent. Musical entertainment around the grounds. Bring money for a purchase or two from the craft vendors. TRIPS SCHEDULED IN MAY Sunday May 1, 2016 Beauty and the Beast Jr. At Warner Theatre Time: 12:00pm to 3:00pm Cost: $42.00 accessible A Sunday afternoon to watch Beauty and the Beast Jr. in the Studio Theatre at Warner in Torrington, CT Lunch at Hibachi Grill in Torrington before the show. Lunch will be inside the stadium (hotdog / drink / chips) If you would like, bring money to purchase a souvenir of the new baseball team. Sunday May 8, 2016 Beardsley Zoo Time: 9:00am to 3:00pm Cost: $45.00 accessible A Mother Day outing to the Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Rides home after the performance Friday May 20, 2016 Thimble Island / Ice Cream treat Time: 9:15am to 3:00pm Cost: $61.00 not accessible A day on the water drive to Stony Creek, Connecticut for a 45 minute boat ride around the Thimble Islands. There are many summer homes on tiny islands. On the way to the surprise stop, we will stop for lunch. An ice cream treat will be in New Haven. Bring a lunch I will purchase drinks and chips. No extra money is necessary. Wednesday May 25, 2016 Mystic Aquarium Time: 8:30am to 4:30pm Cost: $95.00 not accessible A day to visit the fish, sea lions, penguins and Beluga whales.
