Smashed Lemonade Makes 12 12 lemons sliced very thin 1 cup sugar or granulated sugar substitute In a very large bowl, toss lemon slices with sugar. Use a potato masher to mash juice out of the lemon slices. Stir in 12 cups of cold water. Pour through a fine-mesh sieve into a large picture, pressing on lemon pieces to extract as much flavor as possible. Serve over ice.

Nacho Dip Makes 12 16 oz softened cream cheese 16 oz sour cream 2 packages taco seasoning Shredded Lettuce Prepared Salsa Shredded Cheese Nacho Chips Combine together softened cream cheese and sour cream. Add in Taco Seasoning and mix well. Spoon on to a large plate. Top with lettuce, prepared salsa and cheese. Arrange nacho chips around the outside. Popcorn can be popped ahead of time Italian-Inspired Popcorn Makes 12 12 cups popped popcorn 1 tablespoon basil 1 tablespoon parsley 1 teaspoon garlic salt 1 teaspoon salt 3 tablespoons olive oil Mix together the basil, parsley, garlic salt and salt in a small bowl. Place popcorn in a large container with a lid. Add the spice mixture and drizzle the olive oil on top. Close the lid and shake until the popcorn is evenly coated with spices. Nutella Ice Cream Makes 1 1 cup half and half 2 tablespoons sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 tablespoons Nutella 1 pint-size ziplock bag 1 gallon-size ziplock bag 1/2 cup salt Ice cubes In the small bag, combine all the ingredients except ice and salt. Close securely. Massage to mix. Place bag inside the larger bag with ice and salt. Shake for about 5 minutes or until mixture starts to harden. Place a few cookies at a time between two pieces of wax paper. Use a rolling pin to crush. Coconut Orange Balls Makes 40 1 box (12 oz) vanilla wafers finely crushed 1 can (6 oz) thawed orange juice concentrate, undiluted 1 c confectioners' sugar 1 c finely chopped pecans (or other nuts) 1 pkg coconut, flaked sweetened Crush vanilla wafers very fine. Mix with sugar. Add thawed, undiluted juice and nuts. Mix well. Shape into small balls. Roll in coconut. Slicing bananas is a great way to teach kids beginner knife skills. Banana Parfaits Makes 12 1 box (12 oz) vanilla wafers, coarsely crushed 3 pkg. banana instant pudding 6 cups milk 3 sliced, ripe bananas 2 cups whipped topping Add pudding mix to milk in a very large bowl. Beat with whisk 2 min. Gently stir in whipped topping. Layer half of the crumbs and half of the banana slices in dessert dishes. Cover with half of the pudding mixture. Repeat.

Sprinkle evenly with dressing mix, then drizzle with oil. Stir gently but thoroughly until all pieces are well coated. You can also use dried cranberries. Sweet & Salty Trail Mix Makes 12 4 cups mini pretzels 1 cup dried pineapples 1 cup mini sesame sticks 1 cup dried bananas 1 cup dry roasted nuts 1 cup chocolate chips 1 cup raisins Mix together ingredients. Fritos are also good for this recipe. Mix-It-Up Mexican Makes 12 12 individual bags of Doritos ½ cup prepared Salsa ½ cup prepared ranch dressing shredded lettuce Shredded cheese Mix together salsa and dressing.
