WELCOME OUR NEW CHAIR MARGARET KLATT My first message as Chair wow so much to say! I am indeed fortunate to be a member of this great Club and privileged to take on this role surrounded by such a dedicated group of board members. First, I want to thank Richard Piskor for his leadership as Chair over the past 3 years and for allowing me to peek over his shoulder this past year as the Club s exterior went through this extensive construction and transformation. The meetings were so interesting I could hardly wait till the next one and then Wow what a beautiful outcome! Many people have told me that they didn t know how large the building really was it literally sparkles through the trees. Thanks Richard, we wish you good luck on your next adventure. The board and I also wish to thank Faith Collins and Al Ferguson for their years of service as they depart from the board. Faith, I appreciated your counsel and Al, the constitution and by-laws will never be the same without you you made them so much clearer (by the way remember to stay by the phone)! I also wish to extend a warm welcome to John Walsh and Sandy Bligh as they step onto the board they each bring a breadth of talents. Our chats have only just begun. The club has so much going on.(excuse me if I go on a bit!) Breakfasts oh, I am so glad these are back! Thursday and Friday mornings 7:30 11am just $7.95. Even Scots like me appreciate it! BBQ Lunches on Fridays the patio is a great place for lunch from 11:30-2 pm. I have heard that the more of us that show up the better the chance for sunshine! Friday nights Grillen & Chillen 4:30 7 pm where better to relax and unwind in July and August than on our Patio with Live Music. Can our ducklings dance? You have to be there to find out! Pasta by the Pond what a great way to spend the last Thursday evening in July and August (July 25 th and August 29 th ) from 5 7 pm. Come one, come all, when it comes to pasta we are all Italian. Special events Yeah, Yeah, Yeah the Fab Four! Beatlemania.Remember the music, remember the hair! The Sutcliffe s will take us back to a time when I Want To Hold Your Hand and She Loves You were cool songs! That s where I will be on Saturday, July 20 th, hope you can you join us.
