CROSS COUNTRY The annual Boys Cross Country event was held before half term, we had a great turn out from Years 3-6 with 29 boys attending. There were 151 runners in the A race and 168 runners in the B race. Our 6 boys in the A team ran fantastically finishing 5th overall, with our top finisher coming in 5th. The B team also performed exceptionally with our top 3 runners coming in 2nd, 3rd and 7th, leading to us winning the B race beating over 40 other schools. HOUSE CROSS COUNTRY At the end of the Spring Term all the children in Year 1 & 2 took part in a House Cross Country event. This is the first time we have held this event and were absolutely delighted with the effort and enthusiasm from the children. This will now become an annual event for the children. Arianna in Year 3 participated in the WLCGA Girls Stableford 9 holes competition last Sunday, 22 nd April 2018 in Sutton Coldfield and was awarded the Sylvia Evans Salver award as she played brilliantly in her handicap category. Her handicap has since gone down which means she will now be playing in the ladies red tees for some of the future tours/tournaments. During the Easter break, Arianna also ran the 5km Glow in the Park run in aid of Birmingham Children s hospital together with a friend of hers. Well done Arianna!
