Flashlight Fridays Bring your flashlight to Thompson Farm every Friday night and see if you can make your way through the largest corn maze in the state! If you ve done the maze before, come back for a totally new experience in the dark. Also, enjoy a fun Halloweenthemed movie each Friday on an outdoor screen! Bring a favorite toy car or ride-on toy for the kiddos and a lawn chair for yourself for a night of family-fun. There will be refreshments such as coffee, hot cider, and s mores available. Admission is $10/person. The event will be held each Friday in October from 6-11 p.m. Movie schedule (movies begin at 7:30 pm): Grand Strand Witches Night Each year the witches along the Grand Strand gather for a fun night out at the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk. Break out your pointed black hat and join in on the fun this October for the 12th annual Witches Night Out. Funds raised will proceed the Childrens Recovery Center of Myrtle Beach. The event will be held at the Wicked Tuna Tuna Shak. Saturday October 13 th. Donations for the raffle are now being accepted. Raffle tickets will be sold for $1/each. 5pm/7pm. LeAnn Rimes at The Carolina Opry Theater The Carolina Opry Theater is excited to announce that multi-platinum selling acclaimed Country singer, LeAnne Rimes, will be performing at their theater on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 6 p.m. The concert is part of Calvin Gilmore s Myrtle Beach Performing Arts Series. Finally the adult costume contest begins with over $3,500 in cash and prizes. Compete for peoples choice, best duo/group, best individual, big & bulky, Murrells Inlet-themed and honorable mention. Ceremonies will be held at Bovines at 10:00 p.m. Wednesday October 31 st. Halloween at The Market Common Head over to The Market Common on Halloween night for family-friendly trick-or-treating! Participating stores will be handing out candy from 5-7 p.m. There will also be complimentary carriage rides available from 5-8 p.m. departing from out front of Dolce Lusso Salon. October 31 st. Fireworks at Broadway at the Beach Whether you re visiting Myrtle Beach or you re a local, the fireworks shows at Broadway at the Beach are quite a sight to see.
